Refresh Salon and Spa

Love the owner(s), love the aesthetic and love love love Daniella! She's wonderful and an expert at her job. I've had a few services with her and would highly recommend to anyone!

I have visited Refresh many times and atmosphere is always very relaxing and the services are always great. Chris always gives me EXACTLY what I ask her for! I will continue to go back to see her to style/colour my hair, she does an amazing job!

The problem with the salon is that they pencil-in regular clients for their colour, highlights or haircuts in advance. I phoned on a Tuesday as the salon is closed on Mondays for an appointment on Saturday. Normally, it should not have been an issue. I was told by the receptionist that there were no appointments available on Saturday. I asked about a Friday appointment and was told that there was only ONE appointment available and that I could only have time for a wash and blow dry but no time to do final touches with a curling iron if needed. I question a salon that has no time for clients who call to make an appointment 4-5 days in advance? I also asked if they had enough staff? I questioned the receptionist why a business cannot accommodate a client 4-5 days out? As a result, I phoned another hair salon in Ancaster (that is also busy) and received an appointment for Saturday.I think the management at Refresh Salon needs to review their business process. The salon should make appointments available for others that call 4-5 days in advance as well. Does that mean that everyone moving forward from Tuesday cannot receive a Saturday or even a Friday appointment as it’s all booked up in advance by Tuesday. I just found the situation quite strange.

Julie is an amazing massage therapist. She listens to why you are coming for the massage and definitely addresses those areas. I love the warm towels too. I would highly recommend.

Becca the owner of Refresh is amazing. She always remembers the clients and is so sweet and helpful. Was in today and had a manicure and pedicure with Ava. I could not recommend it more. Hands and feel look and feel so great! I would highly recommend this salon and Ava!

Absolutely love refresh. I’ve been coming here for years. The staff are awesome and make you feel right at home. Chris does my hair and I’ll never let anyone touch my blonde again. She’s the best!

My daughter went to get her hair done at Refresh Salon and Spa in Ancaster. She had a price she was willing to spend and a clear idea of what she wanted. What she left with was not even close to what she wanted and her hair is horrible. I know it can be very expensive for colour treatments and so does she. She went in prepared to spend a certain amount and was then charged an additional $100 dollars without being told it was going to cost that in addition to what she was already paying. The colour is awful and the cut is so uneven from one side to the other. You can imagine how a 17 year old reacts to that. She is scared to go back there to have it fixed and they are completely unwilling to refund her the additional $100 dollars they charged her. THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A $300 HAIRSTYLE! Who takes advantage of people like that? These are pictures of the work they changed her $300 for and the photo of what she showed them. Not even close!

I have been entrusting Chris for over a decade to keep my blonde bright and healthy. She is an incredible stylist and colour tech. I always get compliments on the colour and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great hair experience! The team at Refresh is fantastic and I always feel welcomed at my visits.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Christine was very rude and inconsiderate during my visit. She wasn’t receptive at all when I told her I was unhappy with the way she had cut my hair. I asked for one thing, and was given something completely different, on top of that I was way over charged. When I attempted to discuss the matter with Marie I was quickly brushed off and overlooked. A very inconsiderate and overpriced salon. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Would rather go to great clips honestly.

Chris is the only person I will ever go to for my hair. Her colour skills are unmatched. She’s brought me from box died black to bleach blonde and kept my hair healthy in the process. Ive definitely given her a run for her money with my challenging hair but she performs amazing every time! I’m always beyond happy with my colour and style!
