Rosebuds Designer Consignment

Rosebuds is such a great find! The clothes are highend and good quality. The new owner Lela and her staff were super helpful and unbelievably kind. If you are looking for every day clothes or something fancy for a special event, I highly recommend going here. This gal Ally that works there, helped me find the perfect dress and it got compliments all night. Go check out this store, you won't be disappointed

Rosebuds has an amazing array of clothing. Designer to just funky pieces. Not to forget ....you are helping the climate change by not buying new items & filling the landfills.

Very weird experience with this store. awhile back i dropped off multiple designer bags and was told it could take some time for things to sell. I gave them a phone call yesterday and was informed that i only had 17$ on my file and that they had only sold one of my bags for half off. (who knows where the others ended up) but i was never contacted on any item that wasn’t sold which many other stores do if your items don’t sell! anyway besides the point, so today i went into the store to see if there was anything i liked and if not to collect the money. When i spoke to the lady at the front counter she informed me there was nothing on my account at all and it had been “paid out”. Very weird scamming vibes from this store. There are plenty of other amazing consignment stores in Kelowna don’t waste your time getting scammed here.

Disappointed in consigning here. Left some really great, expensive pieces. (They go through to make sure it will do well in store, on trend and in amazing condition, which I thought was a great first sign). I asked if my things can be returned if they didn’t sell, I was told yes. Had to follow up a several months later, to hear they “forgot to make me a chq, but would pop it in mail” and “we will do better next time”. I asked to pick up my things and was told “oh, they were donated long ago”. I received a $16 chq. Definitely will not be using to consign or shopping here again.

One of the downsides of consignment stores is that, when theft occurs, the store incurs no financial loss, but the consignor does, in lost consignment payment and of course, the inventory itself.This problem is exacerbated with the ‘high-end’ concept, since 1. Expensive brands are worth more, and 2. They’re more likely to be stolen.Over the past six months I have brought in almost 150 top designer items (Louis Vuitton, D&G, Versace, etc.) and, it appears, some of that product has already ‘walked.’ I figure that on just two Michael Kors items that I can identify, I’ve probably lost more than a $100 already.Although Rosebuds is aware of this issue, I think they could do more to protect their inventory and reputation. As one example, items going in and out of the change rooms could, and should, be counted and monitored. This is standard procedure is almost all clothing retail stores.Both sides would benefit from such vigilance: the consignor would feel confident bringing their designer clothes to the store, and Rosebuds would retain its claim to be a ‘designer consignment‘ store.

This is one of the BEST consignment stores that I've ever been to. I hired their fashion consultant to assist in selecting clothes from my closet to sell. The process was easy and the staff are super friendly. The selection is amazing featuring an abundance of designer clothes, shoes, purses and jewellery. Rosebuds are very selective of what they chose to sell so you know you are getting excellent and unique quality fashions. The best part about shopping there is they display their clothes in sizes, colours and styles from casual to formal. Great finds at great prices!

Rosebuds is amazing!!!!! 99.9 % of my clothes shoes bags .... pretty much everything comes from this store. The staff is fun and friendly. You cant beat the prices. You wont be disappointed I promise!!!!!!
