I have gone here since I first moved to Kelowna and always am happy with my dr and the service provided. In those 10 years, I have not had a single good interaction with Helen. She is rude, abrupt, and doesnt care about others. The other MOAs on staff seem to be brought down by her attitude and it shows. This clinic deserves a 5 star rating for the doctors, but their front end staff needs a revamp!

I am very disappointed with the locum doctor covering for the clinic until the new doctor will be taking patients. Dr. Ronny Balaban in my opinion has no compassion whatsoever concerning my medical needs. She is confrontational and her communication skills makes me wonder why she chose the profession of a doctor. Her demeanor is not friendly, and I left that appointment knowing her biased opinions. I have been going to this clinic for 18 years and never had this experience with my other doctors. Her lack of empathy towards my situation is quite apparent.towards

Helen has been wonderful to deal with but unfortunately Rosanna has caused me multiple panic attacks. Very unprofessional and am shocked she is employed. She has raised her voice at me on the phone multiple times. Dr is great but have had better service at a walk in clinic.

they are rude over the phone and wont help you at all, i had a receptionist say “too bad!!” to me instead of sorry for the inconvenience. altogether rude, switching my family dr immediately!!!!

It is so sad to see the ratings are so low when those who come here should be grateful for the luxury of being able to receive medical care! The reception deal with the worst side of people everyday- enduring unrealistic demands, insults and rudeness all the while trying to accommodate those in need. Especially during a changing time in health care. Remember people there is a shortage of health care workers everywhere! I have found if you treat reception with respect they bend over backwards for you. The reception desk has always treated me well. Dr. Scheffler has been my family doctor for years, and has always been extremely patient, kind, and thorough in investigating all my health concerns. She is number #1 in my book. Ive see Dr Boshoff as well several times and he has been the same.

Waited 3 hrs in uncomfortable pain to get told what I already know, common f'in sense what a f'in joke this place is, so frustratin! Went there to get help just made it worse would have been better off not going. did nothing for me but charged 20 bucks for a f'in note

This has to be the worst place for anyone to go for treatment. The receptionist have failed to give me a medication to the place where I pick it up they have failed eight times in for visits. One of those medications is a antipsychotic medication, they refuse to take any Blame for not calling it in. They also say it’s not their job, it’s the job of the doctor to phone in medication. Because I have not made my medication in two weeks I can’t leave the house because I could end up tearing somebody limb from limb , It’s not my fault the doctor and the nurses refused to take any blame for not refilling my medication, and I’m not even talking about withdrawals. As I take fentanyl as well. It’s horrifying experience for me, and when I have to explain it people automatically assume that I am threatening them when I say what it does to me. The nurse on staff could see on her monitor that she had not refilled my medication in three weeks after I’ve had my meeting with the doctor, she said it’s not her job or her problem. When I told her what it does to me she started yelling in telling me that she will hang up if I keep threatening her which I definitely did not do. Watch the movie jolt, and you can see my real life experience. And how horrifying it really is.

I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years. All of the doctors were amazing over this time and I would have rated it a 4. Reception had it's rough patches... Helen.. But Dr.Hendrik Henstock took over Dr. Du Plessis' practice and he's an actual joke. He is rude and unprofessional. I made an appointment to discuss my medical issues with him and he diregarded what I had to say, asked questions I had already told him since he was not listening and then hung up on me before providing me any information for support and care. I was even saying wait wait" on the phone before he hung up. I have had to make another appointment to follow up on my medical issues as they were not addressed. I'm very disappointed in who took over this clinic as he is unprofessional and lacks any qualities of a good family practitioner. Thank god Dr. Colleen Maythem is still there."

Don’t bother wasting your time here, extremely hard to get a hold of and wait times for a simple phone appointment are booked weeks ahead, if they even call you when your scheduled.

The females at the front desk are rude. Appointment at 1:10 and the dark hair female forgot to check off attendance!! No apologies, no pro actionSo unprofessional
