We are so happy with Katherine and the in-house model of lessons. She's absolutely meeting our son Milo where he is at, and encouraging his learning in a positive way. He really looks forward to his lesson!

Our kids have been taking piano lessons for over a year now and we are so impressed with how far they have come! The instructor is patient, has a good sense of humour and is keeping them engaged by introducing different styles of music. Would recommend to anyone looking for music lessons!

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. Jesse is so professional, organized, and just generally a treat to deal with. And the lessons are really impressive. Drew has such a great manner about him and really does a great job of personalizing the approach and his lesson plans. My son is really enjoying them and has improved so much over the past 9 months or so. Thank you!

The owner is very helpful and comprehensive. Our teacher is excellent and very skilled at keeping kids on track, encouraged, and learning good technical habits for starting on a range of instruments and singing. I would highly recommend!

My 10 year old daughter takes ukulele and voice lessons with Jaime and absolutely loves her! She's patient and fun and very inspirational for our future star. YourPlace Music has always been super easy to work with and very accommodating - especially given a year full of restrictions with the pandemic. Highly recommend both the school and Jaime!!

My six year old son has been taking guitar lessons with Jesse for five months. Jesse is a calm teacher with the ability to keep a very distracted kid focused and enthusiastic about his lesson. Jesse works hard to keep my son excited about what he’s learning. He meets my son right where he needs and only pushes him forward when he seems ready. I love that Jesse focuses on keeping my sons love of music alive and doesn’t worry about how fast he can learn a song. In the five months he’s been at it he’s always gotten excited when I tell him it’s a guitar lesson day.Jesse is always on time and prompt with all his communication and billing.

My daughter has been loving her lessons with Crystal. She's been a fantastic fit for her. She's super friendly and kind but at the same time as having tons of fun, they actually get lots done. The best thing is how inspired she's been to practice without any reminders.

Jaime is an incredible ukulele teacher and our kids look forward to seeing her every week. She’s taken 3 little kids with no uke experience and turned them into enthusiasts. She’s positive, clear on expectations and great at working with each child’s strengths. She’s even finding some pop music for our oldest to play, which he thinks is the coolest (ukulele pop hip hop - who knew?!).Jaime has made this semester of music a blast and we look forward to carrying on with her for as long as she’ll have us as students.We are so happy to finally have a way to bring music lessons into our home instead of having another class to drive to.The whole team at YourPlace Music School is professional and polite, and we highly recommend this program!

I've really enjoyed my time learning from Your Place Music teacher Katherine! She is patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She was fantastic at getting to know where my skill level is and deciding together what kinds of things I want to learn. I've really enjoyed learning from her and figuring out new strategies. She is full of helpful tips and easy to follow practice exercises. The staff in general are responsive with any questions I have and there's flexibility for scheduling, which is helpful. I highly recommend taking lessons with Your Place Music!
