Tea and Cake (Almonte) catered my sister Barb's Anniversary Party this past week. The event was so special and the food and deserts were great. Loved and tasted almost everything but especially loved the turkey and cranberry sandwiches and the open tarts ... yummy!

Very good take home dinner for 4 persons. Lots of left overs for other meals. Food was great and ready when I arrived to pick it up. Food containers were good and there were no leaks for the drive home to McDonalds Corners. While we did not dine-in, the dinning area looked very clean and organized. Thanks for a great supper! Stopped by this little cute spot on my family day trip outings. Ordered someSmarties cookies - pretty moist and tenderChocolate chip cake pops - very delishButter tart - nice and golden and flakyVanilla cake slice - pretty good but the icing was to sweet for me.& a rosemary cheddar scone - very delish aswell.

Have tried the luncheon specials which are delicious.Most visits have been mid afternoon for a tea and dessert. Good selection and all tasty. Hoping we can work through each and every one of their offerings. Great service by the staffMakes a great destination when on an afternoon drive.

I cannot say enough good things about this little gem in Almonte! The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a wide selection of Pluck quality teas. These range from seasonal offerings to tried and true standbys, and from herbal tisanes through green and black.The scones are to die for. Ask for them to be warmed, and you’ll be in heaven. Served with butter and jam, or for an extra cost, with house-made cream or lemon curd.I’ve never been disappointed in their soup or sandwiches. They also feature delicious luncheon specials which are innovative and attractive as well as being delicious.The decor is at once both elegant and homey. Local art (much of it for sale)graces the walls. The bay windows are prettily decorated by season. Cups and saucers grace high shelves around the room.Tea & Cake is small, with seating for only a dozen people. To avoid disappointment, book in advance. They also offer high tea, which looks amazing (and which I will be happy to enjoy soon)!

What an amazing little hidden jewel in Almonte! I celebrated my birthday with high tea with friends and family and can't say enough about the service, and the quality of the food was wonderful. My mother even ordered a gluten-free tray; it looked beautiful and she loved everything! There was more than enough to eat (we even brought some home) and everything was absolutely delicious! And the restaurant itself is so cute! Highly recommend!

We had our wedding cake made just recently and this is By far the best cake/cupcake place ever! Such beautiful detail and so delicious. Customer service was also amazing and so accommodating with the changes we had to make!

We went there for breakfast while waiting for our clothes washing in the self laundry next door. Glad to find this is a very nice place. Beautiful and quiet inside, foods are good, I like the mixed fruit bowl very much!

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch.The staff were very caring. They were beautifully dressed, graceful, and very sweet. They were able to serve one of us a breakfast meal even though it was late. Two of us had panninis, and both were delicious. The atmosphere was very ladylike; simple yet elegant. Happy to see all staff wearing masks. There was a helpful grab bar to make it easier for us to enter the restaurant. Highly recommended!
