Had a major engine repair on our low miles 2010 Subaru (head gaskets replaced - and timing belt and water pump done at same time for good measure while the engine was apart) done by Trail Tire Westbrook in July 2022. It was a complicated repair with lots of parts and actually required lifting the engine because of the Subaru boxer engine design. Ryan C. was our main contact person and called every day with updates once the repair started to take longer than expected. Very happy with the end result - everything seems to be working fine 5 months later.

I've been coming here for a number of years and would have to say, these guys have been the most reliable, honest, no gimmicks kind of guys I've found. I truly appreciate staffs' professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

Blew a bad tire and driving on the donut plus moving out of town town in days. Shopped around and got the run around at other places (tountian Fires). Quick response on line, email, and phone. They are on top of it. Fit me in quickly, total tire replacement and well as inspection issues and quotes to fix the. In and out in no time. And the price was exactly the quote and VERY reasonably priced. Same ownership and same WAY above average quality and friendliness.June 23, 2023- a tire with rim came off while driving at low speed. The rim was at fault. Trail Tire replaced all four rims with great quality and economic rims and did a simple fix to secure the quarter panel that came loose during the accident. Creative and competent technicians! I noticed a weird clunking noise at back rear tire area. Dropped my vehicle off at Trail Tire thinking and fearing the worst. It was discovered that there was a rusted piece of metal causing the clunking noise. They removed it and made sure everything was okay ALL FOR NO CHARGE. Best news ever. Been going there for years and I’m a happy customer!

The tires look great and are very capable on gravel and dirt roads. But the street dynamics are just mind blowing. The ride is very compliant and on these tires you just glide over minor road features like cracks and bumps. They grip the road very tight and you feel like you’re driving on rails. Cornering is smooth and body roll appears to have reduced. At high speed you will hear a loud hum from the tires but it gets drowned out if music is playing. I did feel like the car took a little more time to get to higher speeds, but once you’re at 100 kmph+ speeds, you can stay there all day long. The great grip on an off road, the soft compound dynamics when cornering or at slow speeds, and the amazing looks, make this tire totally worth the price. I signed up for the Premium Protection Package (PPP) with Trail Tire on 37th street SW due to a senior salesperson there (other staff referred to him several times when I was there). It was upon his advice that the PPP included free wheel alignment once a year, if I purchased the first wheel alignment at the time of PPP purchase. Even though I did not need a wheel alignment at the time, getting a wheel alignment once a year for zero cost was indeed a good deal. So after one year I returned to have my tires rotated again and balanced.... as well as the promised wheel alignment. However, my sales person indicated that no such plan existed (there was one 2 years ago) and apologized for the mix up. He tried to explain what I would get was an inspection upon arrival for front end tire wear etc and that would not be charged but worth approx $50. (Incidentally no.such benefit exists or is outlined on the bill (as opposed to the noted -$50 benefit for tire balance and rotation due to having the PPP plan).So buyer beware. Make sure you actually read the PPP package details versus what a salesperson tells you. That dishonest salesperson also tried to sell the same wheel alignment scam to my son.

I had a flat tire from driving over a screw. Went in without an appointment and had my tire fixed and installed same day for under $40. I was one of 5 customers that came in, and all of us were women except for one man. Every customer received great service and looked happy when they left. I would definitely recommend this Blaskin & Lane location. Fresh cup of coffee while you wait :)

I had sidewall damage so needed a new tire. One of the technicians measured the tread depth and given it was reasonable he said with FWD I probably only needed one tire. Then a manager came by and said I needed 2 tires. When my wife went in to get the 2 tires they then insisted that we needed 4 tires. I notice online that they sell used tires so expect that they are even selling the tires that they took from us.
