La Connexional

I’m so happy I discovered La Connexional when I did! The events they have put on for the Caribbean, African, Black, LatinX and just general Edmonton community has been fantastic! From their La Explorational Live Summit which was a networking event to bring business/entrepreneurs together to the AfroXLatin Block party which we all definitely needed to dance and celebrate, they have been able to bring so much to the community in what feels like a short amount of time. I’m amazed at the effort and thoughtfulness put into each event, and it’s been great to connect with more members in the community. If you have an opportunity to experience any event they put on, you will not be disappointed. They are a very welcoming team, that always promotes a positive environment.

Partnering up with La Connexional has been a great experience for us. Working alongside them is a smooth and easy process, as they are dedicated towards driving community growth and they have been a pleasure to work with. This partnership was mutually beneficial as we got new business leads from this partnership to help us advance our brand and help bring more awareness on the importance of overall health wellness. The organization reaches a very wide and culturally diverse audience that allows you to reach people you may not have had the chance to meet but through La Connexional bridging the gap, we were able to connect with these people and grow our network.

My first ever LaConnexional event was in 2019. My dance group and I got to perform in front of invited guests. There were notable talented artists, vendors and food services. It was my first time seeing a combination of young African and Latin people showcasing their art and culture in a unique way. Since then, I’ve attended other events. I’m glad LaConnexional exists for the Edmonton community as it maintains a vibrant environment for a generation of immigrant young adults. It gives us a chance to keep our culture alive whilst incorporating locals and continually teaching the importance of culture preservation through social outings. I’ll definitely attend more events in the future. Keep up the hard work.

I'm so happy I was able to attend their event while I was in town! The music was phenomenal, but what made this experience a 10/10 was the people! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and honestly just a vibe!

I had attended one night of bachata clases with a girlfriend of mine that I been going out dancing at Latin bars for years. The spot chosen for this event was discreet, nicely lit, had open bar, and a live band. The venue was classy, after classes they had a live dj come on to end the night with remixes while playing bachata/salsa songs after as well. It was such a vibe. Highly recommend if you and your friends or hubby want to go out for a nice outing after dinner.

I had the pleasure of working with Yvan and the rest of his amazing team from La Connexional this past December. Yvan was very professional and was always available to handle any of my questions and concerns.Everyone raved about the event afterwards.I would definitely recommend La Connexional. They are the best!
