Harbord Bakery
This bakery shop is one of the best around UofT. It offers a variety of baked goodies and special occasion cake. It also has a deli/salad bar. Customer service is not bad and inside of the store is clean and safe. Items presentation is not the greatest and they can definitely do better. They don’t have signs and the layout of the bakery section is a tad weird. I have it 4 because it doesn’t have vegan options and the prices are on the higher side. Otherwise, if you are around the area and feeling like having a a good muffin or cookies, give Harbord Bakery a try!

Purchased a mocha cake for my wife's bday after reading the good reviews. Wasn't impressed! It tasted awful with a strong foul freezer odour, which means it had been sitting in there for god knows how long. $30 wasted! Birthday ruined! Wish I can give 0 star.

The Harbord Bakery has all kinds authentic breads, real bagels & all kinds of wonderful delightful treats. The black bread & caraway rye breads are amazing, I like them in the toaster. One of my favorites is the Cheese Danish. The pastry is delicate enough to hold a creamy smooth solid cheese filling with a tease of cinnamon. Topped with a crunchy crumble delicately dusted with icing sugar, it is sweet savory treat that fills you up.

Poppyseed Danish is my favorite. But there are tons of options to choose from. Both in pastry and bakery.A bit expensive but I think it's worth it.

The workers aren’t kind and there is no labels for breads so i need to ask every single thing. The price was 3.5 each which is definitely not cheap but the taste was really cheap. Their almond croissant does not have proper filling and it taste like burnt and the atmosphere does not look that clean

Seriously amazing. More than a bakery, Harbord offers tasty deli and ready to go meals. Their turkey burgers, chili and salads are to incredibly tasty. Try the Putter's pickles! Plus delicious bread and pastries. Rugelach, Hamantaschen, hallah bread, dolce de leche croissants. Great service, the Owner herself comes out to greet the customers. It is a family business steeped in tradition and it shows. Love this place. Highly recommended!

Second time having treats from here.First time I had some cookies that a colleague brought for me to try and this time, I got to try their sudganiyot the past hannukahSufganiyot is basically hannukah donuts with a yummy filling of many different flavours! Totally my favourite time of year when I know these are available!The dough is almost breadlike consistency and the fillings whether jelly to dulce de leche is a nice balance of sweetnessWill have to go down and visit one day to pick up more treats, like the rugelach!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!
