Yourent Cannes

Such a shame... Great 300cc vespa, with gloves and helmet. €100 a day is the most I've paid anywhere in the world for a scooter.... But then when handing in the keys I'm told there is a limit to the kms you can do. Anything over 150 per day costs more... Disgusting! Some people are just greedy. Consumed by money.

We rented a Twizy for the day. Yourent made the whole experience easy and straightforward, as this was our first time driving one we were shown the basics before taking off. I'd highly recommend, we had a fantastic day zooming around in this quirky little car.

I booked our rental via WhatsApp several weeks prior to our trip. That communication went well. I was clear about our intended plan to bike to Antibes and back to Cannes. I was specific about what we needed and even told them what bikes we used at home. When we arrived, we were given a cruising bike. Their cell phone holder was too small for our phones. They discouraged us from taking helmets (we should have). We weren't happy with our bikes. They were too heavy and we were not able to access all the gears due to the sluggishness of the bike. We weren't able to make it to Antibes mainly because the bikes were so difficult to work with, so slow and sluggish. On the way back to Cannes my chain came off. Fortunately, my husband was able to put it back on. Apparently, it was too loose.I don't feel like they were paying attention to what we needed (despite my clarity of what we wanted) so provided us with something entirely unsuitable for our trip. I would not recommend using them.

Dreadful customer service:- My friend and I were accused of lying after exposing a problem with one of our e-bikes.- after waiting for the shop to open , we were told that we were being done a favor as they normally open up later (they had in fact forgotten to actualise their web page ). No apologies whatsoever when confronted with facts. There are way better options in Cannes (I have been renting bikes for more than 6 years), so don’t let yourself be fooled by the relatively good reviews and move on to the next best options.

I reserved a Vespa scooter for the day on our trip to Cannes from 9:00am-6:00pm. When I arrived at 9:30am, they were busy and I was told we would not be able to get the scooter until 11:00am. The people in front of us were also told something similar about their bike rental. Then, when the man who worked there went to check us in, he said we would not be able to rent the scooter because we did not have a motorcycle license. I was confused about this, since on their website, it just says you need a drivers license to operate the scooter. I asked for a refund if we would not be able to rent the scooter, and the man said he was not the manager and we would need to ask the manager for a refund. After emailing the company 3 different times and getting no response, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. Overall, this company was unreliable and unprofessional. I would not advise anyone to rent with them.

Took a biking tour with Sylvie and it was just fantastic! She was extremely helpful and patient when I struggled with some of the biking as I’m a beginner. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had!

Very nice and friendly people. The tour was lovely with great explanation of what we were seeing and how things have changed over the years. Antoine our guide was nice and funny. He helped teach us words and we got to teach him a few things about English and where we are from. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tour of Cannes!!

We rented the simple bikes.It is possible to go all the way to Nice with those in one day and back. A bit of a condition is required though.Do not forget your ID card.
