Loved the atmosphere & the menu looks amazing and is priced reasonably. Very friendly service!Despite my review below I will go back to try again hoping it improves.Sadly everything I ordered (on multiple visits) was overcooked. With the exception of the fries and onion rings - which I liked a lot.The burger was very dry which was a huge let down, sliders were as well.Brie was fried so long that there was hardly cheese left inside the batter.My friends chicken burger was dry with a very very dark burnt batter.Fish tacos had a lot of potential but we're dry (could be from quality of the fish vs being overcooked perhaps).The menu was also out of several options andthere was no liquor for cocktails, which I find very surprising. And a lack of knowledge about the types of beer on tap. Just knowing the name of the beer but not the brewery it comes from or the type isn't usually that helpful.I hope with time the knowledge and cooking improves as I really loved the atmosphere and the menu choices are great on paper.

Decided to try this place because I was doing a first aid course in the building and had gotten hungry during a small break. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries with gravy. The chicken fingers were huge but extremely thin. And the breading was flavourless. The fries were perfect! Perfect taste, perfect temperature and had a slight salty seasoning. The gravy was absolutely garbage. Complete water and also flavourless. The price for the meal wasn’t too bad if it had actual flavour But for the quality of the food it was way overpriced. $13 for basically fries is a lot. Didn’t even finish the chicken due to the lack of flavour. Wouldn’t recommend the chicken fingers or gravy.

Cannot understand for the life of me how this restaurant only has an average 3.7 star rating. It’s top shelf. Do yourself a favour, ignore the poor reviews and try it. We had a party of 10 that showed up late on a Friday night without a reservation and yet had no issue getting seats and everything on the menu was available. Some comments from our group - best nachos ever eaten, fantastic french fries, great soup, awesome baked beans, etc. some really nice takes on Newfoundland food. Service was also excellent and prices were very reasonable - cheaper than the poor meal we had experienced at another highly rated local restaurant. Good celiac options as well.Great to see such an excellent restaurant in Gander. Check out the international lounge exhibits and the movie theatre in the airport too. Makes for a really nice evening.

Sat for an hour without any acknowledgement from staff. Twice a server came over to ask if I had ordered beans. When I explained I hadn’t ordered at all yet, she turned on her heel and walked away. Several people came and sat near me. Some got served slowly, some quickly, and at least two others came and went without being served. Food smelled good. Wifi worked well. I got a bunch of work done, and I guess I’ll eat when I get to Halifax as my flight is now boarding. Anyway, who even orders beans in an airport?! I hope they aren’t sitting next to me on my flight.

A hidden gem at the airport... Wander around the international terminal then have lunch! Fries were a highlight but everything was delicious lunch fare. Will be back!

Fine dining has finally arrived to Central Newfoundland!The new menu is excellent, they have focused in on quality and deliver. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The beer selection is excellent and I have yet to have a disappointing meal. I strongly recommend the Brisket Burger. The perfect spot for date night, to take a client, or to simply enjoy a quality meal. This restaurant would not be out of place in Halifax or Toronto in terms of quality and class, but the staff still have that small town charm. Might be one of the only things I'll miss about Gander when I leave.

Great restaurant to grab a bite! Whether you're flying to or from Gander, or just in town! Very modern, with a bit on the menu for everyone. A nice, sleek bar. Many TVs, and even some snacks to take with you! Lots of parking in behind the airport specifically for the restaurant as well!

Absolutely amazing experience here. Went as a couple. We both got appetisers and the serving sizes were very nice especially for the price. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection along with the chicken burger. The harvest salad was also one of the better salads I've had and for a small it was very generous.My partner had a small side of mac and cheese and that was possibly one of the best tasted before. Very thick cheese sauce with an unexpected flair. Service was very friendly from start to finish.The ambiance of the restaurant really separates itself from a lot of other local restaurants as it has a more sophisticated Vibe with a focus on local avian history and pictures. All in all it was a very good service and each dish served something unexpected . Would one hundred percent recommend
