This guy was paid to install a perimeter drain and mulch the garden but all he did was dig a trench and leave. The garden looks worse now then before he did any work - now all the flowers are dead and only weeds are left. If I could give zero stars I would. All the plants that we asked him to save are dead. We ended up replanting the prize rosebushes ourselves, but they have not yet shown any evidence of life. You can see from the before pictures that they are quite large - 16 years old, reduced to sticks that don't even bear leaves. He posted his trench on facebook all proud, but he never completed the work. My spouse dug the trench to the proper depth as it wasn't deep enough to meet the lateral drain, my spouse then laid the pipe and covered it with drain rock that he had to purchase himself, and then my spouse had to put the dirt back. All this work my spouse did I paid Ron at Greenerspaces to complete. This guy keeps saying he's going to come back but he never does, I hired him in March and it is now June's end. I feel really ripped off.*Update* The response below is exactly what I have received since March - apologies, promises to return on set dates that he never showed up, excuses why he's not doing the work or why he didn't show up and deflection of his responsibility on to others. I have remained calm and understanding until the last time he promised" to come and finish what he was paid for this weekend and didn't bother to show up /again/. Now however I feel that I need to do something to prevent other people from making the same mistake that I did.I don’t understand how this project could be considered anything other than abandoned because the trench sat open for 2 months until my spouse took action and did the work himself to fill it in a few weeks ago. There were promises of help on some of those days but Ron never showed up at all. When I told him the roses that were so important to me weren’t looking so good he told me I should plant them myself. The job did not go to plan because Ron left the trench and never came back. After my spouse did some more digging he discovered there was no need for extra work because he found the lateral drain
