Top notch Chinese food. Fried rice, ginger beef and sweet / sour pork were all on par with the best I’ve had in Vancouver. Although takeout was a little slow, surprised the rating is not higher.

We usually have good food here. We order off the menu and have never had the buffet. The service is usually good and the food hot and fresh. Tonight - the Monday of Family Day weekend - they were full with 2 huge tables of Kiwanis Courtenay members celebrating Chinese New Year, a couple of other reserved tables and lots of to go orders. They found us a table in the back of the restaurant more than big enough for the 3 of us. We said if they had to seat more people we'd happily share the table. The food was excellent. The best deep fried wontons we've ever had (as you can tell by the photo of the best empty plate). They had red table clothes and oranges on the table for New Year's and little shrimp crackers. (So sweet) We ended up sharing the table with a lovely couple and had a great time at dinner. Thanks to Robert from the Kiwanis for the the yummy cake and happy birthday to the gentleman celebrating his 94th birthday! Thank you to the very attentive and friendly staff.

We were travelling through Courtenay and stopped in for dinner, the staff were friendly and the food was great, my husband is a picky eater but he definitely enjoyed his meal! We will be back in the future. :)

Grabbed some take out last night. I ordered the Golden Carriage Hot Pot, it was loaded with Shrimp,Chicken, BBQ Pork, Tofu +Ginger, it was enough to feed 3 people. And I had an appy of Chinese Sausage was perfect. The Food was So Good!!!.I'm definitely going back

I usually get take out and let me tell you one thing....... YUM! Delicious food, generous portions, and speedy service. Top Chinese food in the Valley for sure. Delightful, hard-working people. I only get food from here.

$10 Senior lunch buffet.Good value for the buffet lunch or supper.My Chinese food place to go. Easy parking around.Just a small observation, but water served in a nice thick glass.

Got take out bbq pork and rice vercillmilly Singapore style both were very good portions and very tasty. I will be back to try some more dishes. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

The posted hours are so off. Everytime it says they are open and I go there for food before closing, they are dark and empty. Nobody updates the information posted. Foods good when you can get it though.

Very good tasting Chinese food. I love the Chicken Chow Mein and Sweet And Sour Pork combo for 1. The staff are also friendly and the customer service is fantastic.
