My favorite store in Val David and that’s saying something. So much carefully chosen goodness in such a small place. Homemade pastry, soups, sandwich, great coffee and hot chocolate. I always stock up on the pasta, Italian delicacies and tempting comfort indulgences. Prices are really reasonable and the service is downright gallant.

Four of us came and had a good swath of the menu. Salad, pasta, sandwiches, dessert. All excellent. Very fresh and presented exclellently. Coffee was also very rich. Service is excellent. Great place to stop for food.

I was 5 mins ahead of my cousin who was meeting me for breakfast. My daughter and I were seated by a very nice man at a table and told when my cousin arrives he'd rearrange the tables to accommodate. After a few mins an abrasive lady from the back came up and advise me that I shouldn't have sat down until my cousin had arrived and that I will need to give my table up if other ppl show up. Fair if she would have approached me if we were holding up the last table but there were 3 other tables available. She was rude, inappropriate, made us feel so unwelcomed that we left. Absolutely terrible service from the woman.

Surprisingly good. Way better than next door, which used to be the benchmark in the area. Amazing presentation and very good taste. Generous portions as well. Service could improve though. I think a couple owns it and they serve. The gentleman is very kind and nice. The lady needs to improve quite a lot her attitude. Verdict : give it a try.
