Food was tasty, massive helpings, Ted is extremely friendly and cooks quickly for you! We saw locals stopping in and chatting with him about their lives and buying food, it was really pleasant to see.Perhaps could've used a sauce on the side as my friend didn't realize how dry jerk can be!

Ted is a super cool and friendly guy! We got the double meal of half jerk chicken and half curry chicken. The chicken was a little salty and the curry was a little spicy but they both were awesome! HUGE portion!

I and my taste buds were so incredibly happy to have recently found this place that they would tingle when I drove even when this place was closed. Like The Shining but with food.Now I'm sad that this is his last week. I'm happy for him but my tastebuds will be in mourning from next week onwards.Kind humble man, the world needs more like him.

Go and try it. Finally tried Ted's kitchen and the food is amazing. Portion sizes are huge it took everything not to spill any as I scooped it out of the takeout container. The jerk chicken was really good. It was spicy but not overly so allowing you to taste all the flavors. However the real surprise was the soup. Definitely a new favorite of mine all I can say is try it.

I’ve tried everything Thunder Bay has to offer that is Jamaican cuisine. Ted’s Kitchen is by far the best in Thunder Bay. Ted moved from Jamaica and owns and operates the restaurant by himself, and he makes it look easy. Ted is friendly, funny and is a hard worker.I’m all about the Jerk Pork with rib sauce and Ted's homemade hot sauce on the side. The portions he gives you are massive. The Jamaican Patties are insanely delicious and come in regular or spicy. Buy 2 patties and get one for free. Ted even has a decent selection of ice cream for those hot summer days.This is the #1 choice for Jamaican food that isn’t in Jamaica. I know, pretty bold statements or me to make. It’s just my opinion though. Everyone else in town tries their best, but Ted’s is where it's at. I’ve eaten at all of the Jamaican restaurants in town, and they have good food. It’s just not as good as Ted’s.There is parking in front of the restaurant available only to Ted’s Kitchen customers. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Highly recommended that you check it out.
