Prospect Lake Community Hall

This is a really nerve place for a party. The kitchen has everything you need. The sound system was really good.

I attended a wedding there, and was so impressed by how clean well cared for the hall and grounds/gardens were. Will definitely recommend to anyone hosting an event

Great space for meetings in the countryside. Hall is rentable for special occasions or day use.

We had our wedding at PLCH in October, and just had the best experience. Susan was the nicest person to work with! the hall has everything you need for a reception- tables, chairs, big hall space, sound system, bar area, kitchen, and another room for catering/ quieter visiting. Susan also went out of her way to ensure we had the best day! I got to visit the hall to get a good idea of how to do the layout, but they had some great suggested layout ideas we went off of. Susan also made so many suggestions to make sure our day ran smoothly. They have tons of parking, a great system to set up, and you can hire a clean up crew- we didn't clean up a thing after! They were so great to work with and couldn't suggest them more.

We had our wedding at this venue and what a perfect evening. Susan helped us reserve the site, and was helpful answering all the questions and letting us view the site multiple times.

I had my wedding at the hall this past weekend and it was the perfect venue! Susan is amazing to work with and the hall has absolutely everything you need. The gardens were perfect for an outdoor ceremony and the hall had many amenities. The neighbours did approach us when we were decorating before the wedding and advised they had had some issues with previous weddings and noise levels, but we were mindful of our noise and didn't have any issues. It is so nice to have a venue that lets you access it the day before for decorating, and it meant a lot to us to have it in this area of town. I highly recommend it for all weddings!

What a lovely community hall. The garden area is also an absolute gem. We rented it for a friend's wedding and everything looked fantastic. Thanks so much for truly making it a night to remember.

This is a simple little hall halfway between Victoria and Sidney. Nothing overly fancy, yet nice, simple for a reception or event around the 50 or so person mark. Full kitchen and bar area also with a homey country feel to it...

Prospect Lake Community Hall is such an awesome venue for a wedding reception! They have everything you need, included their big kitchen, tables, chairs, podium, arch, benches etc. We rented the chair covers, which I would recommend because the chairs aren’t very pretty but they are VERY comfortable. The hall was a blank slate for us to decorate however we pleased and it looked wonderful when we were done! They have lots of hooks to hang things and you have full control of the lights so you can dim them to create a nice ambience. Their bathrooms are very clean and are a great size for larger events. Having the back room for the buffet was great so that the catering crew could cleanup without guests seeing them. Hiring their take-down crew was also well worth it. All around it was a great experience and I could see us throwing other parties here in the future! Highly recommended!

Stopped by to check out the Little Free Library at the entrance to the parking lot. Very community-minded place!
