Exceptional experience with Angling Sports last week. The staff go above and beyond the usual polite and knowledgeable staff. I initially decided to shop with AS based on selection and price. (I'm in Ottawa, so the free shipping for +$150 orders made the decision easy.) I changed my mind on the reel before I even received it. The staff provided excellent advice and helped me resolve the issue. In particular, many thanks to John for being so accommodating and patient. I highly recommend supporting small business even if they are out of town!

Placed an online order for my husband. They were short a few of my items so substituted with what my husband said were great options! Even threw in a few extra. Very knowledgeable and super friendly!! Definitely recommend!

They were so helpful, they seem well stocked and the staff is top tier. The guy who helped me fix my son's fishing rod was so amazing. He showed us how to tie a hook and set up the rod for us.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that can answer your fishing related questions. Excellent selection of products in all price ranges. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're in need of rods, reels, tackle and lures.

A great place to go to get good advice friendly staff and good items. This shop is big and has everything you need. Only downside is the staff are bit inattentive and if you ask questions they look what you are buying and answer will be based on that...

Still a great place for fishing gear, but MAN they are slow AF when checking out. I was in line for 20 minutes today, with one person if front of me, and the guy on cash had ZERO sense of urgency.If I didn't really need the $200 worth of tackle I'd have left.Cmon guys, show some respect for people's time.---------Best place in London to buy fishing tackle, gear, or bait. Staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Most of them fish so can give you insight into good lures, colors etc.I've found the prices to be very close even to Amazon and have heard they'll price match some other retailers.

Been to angling sports a couple times, the staff talk down to you, I am no pro lureman, nor a masterbater… but I never claimed to be. I only go fishing to pop a couple cold ones and have some fun, but if I ask questions and go fishing for answers (see what I did there), I should not be disrespected by their know it all staff.The whole shop is a little dirty, seems like the staff don’t do any cleaning, I get it, it’s a fishing store and not a high standards place.All in all, the staff are rude, and do not care.
