Met them at the Boat Show in Jan. Seemed nice enough, gave me their brochure with contact info. I asked for a quote twice by email, got no replies. If they don't bother responding to potential business or simple acknowledgement, I'm not dealing with them. There are cheaper friendlier places for canvas work, with free parking.

Island Canvas have done repair work for me for years. They always do a good job and stand behind their work. Once they missed something and I took it back and they fixed it right away. They are very busy but good places are always busy.

I had a custom boat cover made by this company. The work was ok but try getting them to return your calls for service was next to impossible. THEY NEVER RETURN YOUR CALLS NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU LEFT MESSAGES WITH THEIR VOICE MAIL OR VISIT THE SHOP IN PERSON.I now need repair to the cover this year and the experience is the same. The manager named Abbi or something will not return your calls.

Called to get an estimate and was met with what must have been the worst customer service I've had in quite some time - unresponsive to my questions and not understanding of my needs at all. You can have a great product, but with a front end like that, I know that they won't be getting my business.

Purchased a winter boat cover and a full enclosure for a Catalina 36 in the fall of 2015. The quality of their product(s) is excellent. I questioned the cost of the enclosure last season but after one weekend on the water in the hot sun I don't know why I didn't do this earlier. Island Canvass is not cheap but, like everything important, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Abby and her team for your custom work.

I am very happy with the work Abby did for me. She listened when other companies did not and delivered the product way before I expected it would be, , despite her large number of Spring work orders and limited staff. I would highly recommend.
