Forestells' Christmas Trees
If you're looking for a rustic, non-commercial, better-priced, woodsy experience without the crowds, this is your place! But, be sure you have someone strong to lug the tree out! It was quite a trek, but I love our pine tree, and it made for a wonderful family memory (maybe not so much for my husband who carried the huge tree on his back...lol). Plus, the friendly owner gave me a huge pile of free boughs to make my annual Christmas urns. Very happy.

Great price for the trees and awesome tree selection if you look around. Our tree is beautiful and we got it mid November and it's still looking amazing. Hasn't lost any needles yet. We water it and add brown sugar to the water to keep it alive. It was technically closed when we went but we called the owner and he let us go in and pick a tree. We were very grateful because we had already drove there. I definitely recommend Forestells!

Forestells' Christmas Trees
This is a 'cut your own' tree farm in a nice area outside of Guelph, so be prepared to hike and haul the tree out on your own. Prices are high ($80), and you're expected to bring exact change or send an e-transfer to pay for it. Overall you would be much better off going to Chickadee or elsewhere. Owner doesn't post prices at the road (where you have to park), so you don't find out how much until you hike into the property. Not a great experience or value.

Google says that they are open today (Monday) but when we drove here the sign on the gate says only open weekends. Darn! Looks awesome and we were looking forward to cutting down our own tree. Hopefully hours can get updated.

For being minutes out of Guelph you feel of the map. Very enjoyable but be prepared to carry your own tree up some major hills. Price was lower then Stated.60 bucks for all trees no matter the size. The trees are not trimmed but you WILL find a tree here.

It a do it yourself kind of Christmas tree farm. Next time I will bring my sled as it was a tough hall back up hills with a tree. But lots of trees to choose from late in the season. I would go again.

Great place if you want to cut down your own Christmas tree. You may have to carry it a ways depending on which tree you choose. Parking needs improvement, currently patrons must park along the road which isn't the safest location when trying to tie your tree to the roof of your vehicle.

Nothing better then cutting your own Christmas tree! Lots of trees to choose from if your willing to walk a little. They provide saws at the entrance if you don’t have one. Wish they left some string to tie down tree, but just remember to bring some. Will be back next year! =)

What a great time at the Forestell's farm today. Beautiful walk, great bonfire, friendly people. We will be back next year
