Dr. Maryam Eftekhari

Dr. Eftekhari is the sweetest, caring and most knowledgeable family physician, however her receptionists have been the rudest for the past few years. It's a big disappointment to see Dr.'s rating go down the drain for hiring unqualified receptionist staff. I will update my review with further interactions upon noticing some improvement in communication skills and basic customer service.

I have been a patient of Dr Eftekhari's for 6 years now. Especially recently, she and her receptionists are becoming more and more careless by day. Expect them to request the wrong blood work, forget to report results to you, send you the wrong results, and just about every other rookie mistake there is. The worst part is, she and her receptionists will try to rudely dismiss your concerns and shift the blame onto you, the patient.Her receptionists are clearly not trained or even experienced at their job and constantly make big errors. The doctor herself has also become quite forgetful and error prone as well, forgetting prescriptions, etc.Dr Eftekhari and her staff are quite unprofessional and make your experience way more time consuming and stressful than it should be. Avoid her at all costs. There are plenty of brilliant family doctors in the area with shorter wait times and competent staff.

Rude front desk staff!!!Amazing doctorMy family and I have been patients of Dr. Hormozdi for the last 7 years. She is by far one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional doctors we have been to.However, the front desk staff are extremely rude, careless, and just plain disrespectful. As several other Google reviews have explained, using the exact same terminology: they are RUDE, LAZY, and SASSY!My family and I have had countless experiences where we are spoken to rudely and with attitude and have had the phone just hung up on us mid-conversation. There have been so many rude encounters with the staff working in this clinic in the past 7 years that I avoid calling in as much as I can. I have seen so many negative reviews about the front desk staff, but yet nothing is being done.It's a shame to have such unprofessional staff, especially in a field of work that requires empathy to deal with a variety of patients that each have their own health problems.I really hope these issues are addressed.

Dr.Eftekhari most caring doctor I ever see. Always will spend extra time with her patients and follow up if any serious issues Unfortunately phone is always busy and almost impossible to get through and schedule appointment

Our family is so lucky to have Dr. Eftekhari for so many years. Not only is she knowledgeable but she cares and is so empathetic, which is rare to find. She listens and trusts her patient’s experience. We don’t know where our family would be today if it wasn’t for her thorough care.

Dr Eftekhari is a joke, she doesn't care about her patients health, her solution to everything is just strong drugs instead of putting in time and care to investigate. She has misdiagnosed my mother countless times and my mother has decided to change doctors.Save yourself and your health. This doctor will not prevent your illness, and your illness will just get worse. She needs to retire because it's obvious she doesn't care.Just look at all the bad reviews she has!

Dr. Eftekhari is an outstanding physician who goes above and beyond in treating her patients with excellence, knowledge, understanding and compassionate. She listens carefully to her patients and treats them professionally. I and almost all of my family are so fortunate to have her as our family physician. My Mother is the patient of DR. Homa Hormozdi from many years. Dr. Homa Hormozdi is very knowledgeable, very patience and very sweet doctor. Dr Homa speaks fluently in Farsi and this for my mother as an Afghan Canadian where she is not good at English is very helpful. Also, all her receptionists speak Farsi too. I don't know why people are complaining. We should be very proud of our Persian community.

Dr Eftekhari is a very knowledgable and pedantic doctor. She provides the highest standard of patient centered care.
