The Val-Morin Convent
We organized a small wedding at the Couvent. It was just PERFECT! You need to have a respectful group as there is some clear and reasonable rules in place for noise as the Couvent as close neighbors and is by a lake. It worked perfectly for us.

We had a big family reunion at Couvent Val Morin and I have to say this is the BEST place with all the necessities needed for a large group. Everyone found his/her own space in this spacious site and we never felt that we were all clustered together during our stay here. The kitchen is just so amazingly accessible that we can easily cook for an army !My family members have already asked if they can come back here next year.........

Le couvent is a place for all who need a moment to come home. It is a gift. The floors are steeped in wisdom and kindness. The owner is a sincere, open-hearted, community builder, an emotional grown up with the joyful abandon/playfulness of a child. The vegetarian meals are intentional and high quality, the sunlight hits every room, and the surrounding nature serves as a reminder of something greater than ourselves. I feel blessed and inspired every time I exit this simple space. There is magic in the walls if you trust it.

Went there for Christmas and it was such a beautiful view. Go out for a walk and you would see fresh deer marks and see other animals running around.
