First time at Rowdy Bird Juicy Chicken. I was really hoping I found the next best hand-slaughtered halal fried chicken joint. Unfortunately, it did not meet up to expectations even with the reassurance from the staff that it would be.Ordering: I would suggest calling ahead because it seems they get a lot of skip and Uber orders, so you could be waiting a bit if you walk-in.Food: I ordered the Big Rowdy Burger which ended up being 2 very thin pieces of “chicken breast” covered in batter. Curly fries were a change but cold. The chicken tenders were actually juicy and a good size (might have been better off putting those in my burger).Cost: the tenders combo at $16 was okay. $11 for the burger I had was not.

The chicken burger is amazing! The coleslaw on top of the chicken goes really well with the burger. I would only recommend the original (non-spicy) fried chicken because the spicy kind doesn't taste good at all. The batter for the spicy chicken tasted like the original batter except it has chilli powder on it... a bit disappointed that it tasted like shake n bake.

I ordered on Uber eats : 10 chunks - spicy + Rowdy. Looked pretty dry. Chicken was juicy but the lack of sauce was hurting the overall experience. Luckily I had some spicy habanero dipping sauce from McDonalds which saved this. Maybe they have sauces for this but I didn’t know. Overall chicken was juicy and flavourful. I think I would try something else on the menu next time. Repeat? Maybe.

Absolutely amazing every time! The chicken is the juiciest I've ever had. Many places are typically dry (looking at you, Popeyes). Rowdy Bird also has the largest pieces of chicken compared to other places. The seasoning is perfect, as well as the service. Anytime I've come, the owner was always there ensuring it was made correctly and asking for any feedback on previous visits. When you order takeout, they prep it all in advance for your scheduled time and then when you come in, they add the finishing touches so it's always hot and fresh! Of course, this does make you wait a little bit when you arrive but it's worth it to always have fresh food when you might be running late for any reason.The picture attached is of the family meal (15 pieces, large gravy, large curly fries, and macaroni).

The chicken is pressure fried to perfection preserving all the juices. The rowdy spices are a flavor explosion in your mouth! And who doesn't love curly fries? Definitely visiting again, next time to try the famous hot honey sauce fried chicken !!

Solid chicken sandwich spot! Saw this shop in a video online and decided to check it out. Honestly, it definitely surpassed my expectations!The big rowdy chicken sandwich: not only did this sandwich taste juicy but it was a great size and the hot honey flavour was amazing! The coleslaw wasn’t really my type of thing but I wouldn’t say it took away from the experience. The fried it came with were some of the best I’ve had from any chicken spot!Garlic Parmesan wings: wings cooked perfectly and was a good size. Though, I’m not a huge fan of this flavour. I would definitely get the wings again but maybe with a different flavour.3 piece chicken: this chicken was definitely juicy as they claim on their branding! It was dusted with some sort of curry powder (I think) which added a bit of spice.Overall food was great, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a good fried chicken spot.

I ordered chicken fromhere twice and both times so delicious, juicy and seasoned to perfection just wow - i no longer want to order from Popeyes!! The curly fries were amazing too but since I order from Uber eats by the time my order gets here the fries are usually cold. Somehow, the chicken is always hot and crispy as if I went and ate it at the store!! The one star deduction due to the chicken tenders - they had great flavour but overcooked n hard. Didnt enjoy those! The chicken however AMAZINGGG!!

This fried chicken is a hidden gem in the area. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He asked if it was our first time and made recommendations for their best sellers, this made our overall dining experience that much more enjoyable. The location is small with limited bar seating, so take out is recommended.We ordered the 8 piece family meal with hot honey flavour, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. The side options of curly fries, macaroni salad or coleslaw, and gravy were all great additions to the meal and were a perfect accompaniment to the chicken.The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. They make a great spot for a casual meal or a quick lunch.Overall, Rowdy Bird is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal in Scarborough. With a variety of side options and flavourful chicken dishes, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

Small take out place between Kennedy and midland on Sheppard Ave east . I had the original chicken sandwich which was good . Also had the fries , which were very good , I enjoyed the seasoning they have on it . This place is spicy , if you want spicy fried chicken this place is for you . I got the honey sauce not sure if it’s the best sauce , I will try a different one next I come back. Also I would try the wings in the future as well. I would definitely go back . Original chicken sandwich Combo , fries and canned drink with honey hot sauce was $14.11 it was a filling meal .
