Greg helped me to find a new home in Port Moody while I was living in Toronto. He is exceptional to work with, incredibly knowledgeable with the area and not only did he help find my home, he also found me a contractor and an engineer to renovate, assisted with getting information from the city, as well as a notary for closing. We have finally moved into our new home and couldn’t have been happier or more grateful with our experience working with Greg. Would give 6 stars if it was an option!

Kate has been looking after the rental of my condo in Port Moody ever since I first started to rent it out. She has been quite superb and really professional, it is really a painless experience. Greg was referred to us by our relocation company’s client service manager, and this was an awesome match! Greg stayed on top of the details and never left us hanging for a response.Prior to officially moving, we had a list of houses that we wanted to see (thinking we could get the ball rolling) and Greg scheduled a good run of open houses where my husband could have me on video chat for the ones we would both like. Having lived in the US for a number of years now, we were unaware of how quickly one could close on a house in British Columbia compared to our previous places of residence. Greg struck me as particularly thoughtful when he suggested that we continue to only tour open houses until we were ready to make a deposit, since it’s a lot of work to get a house ready for showing. Having gone through the process of selling a house ourselves, it is indeed a lot of work and stress for a homeowner!Once our whole family arrived in Vancouver, we were ready to house hunt with all of us in person. Greg was very accommodating and we drove to what seemed like the far corners of BC since we had a wide range for location. It helps that Greg is a dad himself - he was great with our kids and treated them like they had a real say in our home buying (note: they did not have any choice whatsoever).Having purchased and moved into our new house now, the process went very smoothly with Greg, whose foresight and experience was very much appreciated, for example, asking the sellers to have the house professionally cleaned prior to closing and arranging for our deposit to be split while our funds were being transferred.Greg’s referral list for tradespeople has been wonderful so far and a great way to keep in touch after such frequent communication during the purchase process. I highly recommend Greg as a realtor!

We worked closely with Greg for both the purchase of a new home as well as the sale of our condo. For both transactions we found Greg exceptionally easy to deal with - professional, responsive, and insightful. We did not feel any pressure at any time and always received candid, sometimes critical, feedback to help our decision making process.During the sale process we were really able to see the difference, having worked with other realtors in the past. He was very hands on and brought in others to assist in enhancing both the visual appeal of our condo but also to carry out minor repair work. The resources he brought in were great and we will also continue using them in the future too, which speaks volumes to the type of connections the Axfords maintains and their priorities. Update: Its been 3 years since I posted my review. In that time, I've reached out to Greg for advice and recommendations for services for the house (it was during the Pandemic, and we were new to the area) and each time Greg very kindly helped out. We also continue to get birthday cards, other holiday cards, invitations to events and little gifts now and then. I'm very impressed by all the ways he and his team continue the relationship with clients.When my husband and I started looking to purchase a house we wanted to work with a Realtor who would be professional and honest in their dealings with us. Working with Greg was absolutely amazing - firstly he helped us find a realtor to sell our condo and then proceeded with finding us our lovely home. This included overcoming the challenges of the current pandemic. Greg is extremely professional and knowledgeable guided us every step of the way through the home buying process. We would not hesitate to work with him again.
