Costco Wholesale Huntington

Costco is now becoming unaffordable, as they keep on hiking the prices of many items. Many items have tripled in price over the past few months.I went to fill up gas and surprisingly, they did not display the gas price anywhere before the fueling point. Apparently, this looked intentional, as when I waited in the queue and reached the fuel pump, the price of regular fuel was just 6 cents less than the actual price. I did not fill up and left, as I could get fuel much cheaper than Costco’s price at gas stations near my home.Costco seems to be taking advantage of the current situation to hike prices to their own choice and maximize their profits.I will not fuel up from Costco henceforth as it is not worth the wait. Also, I will be very careful when selecting items to buy, as many of the same items are available in other stores at better prices.

I went in to downgrade my membership, waited 20 mins for my turn, then another 10 mins at the counter when the staff told me the system is down and I would have to be moved to another computer to complete the membership change. While I continued to wait, I had a sense of urgency, the staff kept giving me uncaring and annoyed stares. Meanwhile none of their staff showed any sense of apology or urgency behind the counter. They served the person in front of me for 40 minutes. The staff needs to do a better job serving customers. While I waited in the membership line, the entire returns line was served.

This is a pretty busy Costco and at times, the parking lot is crazy! The location is good and easily accessible via Hwy 427 and Hwy 7. Sometimes, they don’t carry what I am looking for or they’re sold out compared to some of the other locations. I prefer some of the Mississauga locations, to be honest, even though they are further away.

I visited the automotive center for an oil change on a Saturday. I thought it was going to be a stressful event and was not expecting much. But to my surprise, What a great experience! I was impressed that I got a confirmation call the day before and both the check-in team and the service team, I give them a 5 star rating. Being a Saturday they were super busy, but everything looked like it was running smoothly and they were well organized.

10 ladies working behind the customer service desk and only 1 customer being served while there is a huge line. 5 of the ladies feel like it's necessary to organize the almost empty cart of returns. Another lady needs to literally saunter off to the washroom after the grueling task of serving each customer. Another lady needed 10 min to find just the right roll of packing tape. Another lady pretended to be baffled by the last return she did and was slumped over the counter just peering at the receipt. And then you have the most useless one of them all...the manager who doesn't have the courage to say anything to these ladies who know that and are clearly taking advantage of him. He just would stand in the middle looking helpless and scared. Then leave for a few minutes, hoping things would change. Come back to find that they haven't and would pretend he came back to look for something. Leave again, hoping something would change, come back only to see it still hasn't, pretend again to be looking for something. I wish I could say this was a one time thing but this is a regular occurrence there. Costco needs to look into this.

Great location. Super friendly staff make the busy shopping experience a happy one. Park far away and make the short walk. There are always cars waiting for close spots when there are tons just a few spaces farther.

All items available anytime also it very clean and big.

Well organized and clean Costco. Not as busy as other locations. Not very helpful staff in tire centre unfortunately.
