Used this company for several separate home fix-up jobs(plumbing, interior trim replacement, deck staining, exterior work etc.). They were responsive and provided good service and good solutions.

I was impressed with John T's workmanship and professionalism the first time he came so much so that I have had him come back two more times this past year . With a can-do attitude and sense of humour, John completed drywall and mortar repair, window and bathroom caulking, hanging pictures, drilling new house numbers, and so much more for the sale of my house. I highly recommend Golden Years and John's services.

We had Golden Years repair and install drywall in a basement room. There were lot of problems with the existing drywall and the basement ceiling was unfinished in the room.Brandon from Golden Years did a great job making it look complete after the drywall install. He made sure it all looked finished and complete. Very happy with the way it turned out.

Heard good things about this place so I e-mailed them to inquire about having a cut-to-fit window covering installed and getting a baseboard heater reattached to the wall. I also said I wanted to get a quote about getting some flooring and plumbing work done.The first person who called me back was a very nice, older gentleman who said he wasn't comfortable with the ladder work required for the window covering. He was very cool about it and said someone else would get back to me. No problem, I appreciated his honesty.The second person got back to me and asked me to send a photo of the covering I wanted installed. I did so and was told they would be turning down the job because since the covering would be ruined if it was cut wrong, they weren't willing to take the risk. I wrote back and said I'd inquired about more than one task and was interested in getting a quote for more substantial work and they never replied.I guess they don't want my business. Inquiring elsewhere now.EDIT: Just to add to the owner's response, never in any of my communications with them, nor on their web site was it mentioned that they are only trying to do exterior work right now. You might want to mention that up front before people waste their time.

We are very happy with the baseboard installation work done by Adnan at Golden Years Handyman Services. The price was very reasonable, and he was punctual, thorough and paid meticulous attention to detail to make sure the job was done right. We will definitely hire Golden Years again for jobs in the future. Thank you!

We contacted Golden Years Handyman to have a kitchen tile backsplash installed. They were very prompt returning our call, and the contractor began work within a day of my call! That was quicker than any other company I contacted, who told me a kitchen backsplash would take a few months before they could even schedule the work. The guys did a great job, were extremely friendly, helpful, clean, and they helped us with an additional job while they were here. We highly recommend them!! We will contact them for any other work we need done, they were amazing to deal with!

I reached out to Golden Years for drywall repair and paint of my stairway and upstairs hallway, which were in terrible shape with holes from electrical work, bulging drywall seams and nails and a bad paint job from the previous homeowner. I got paired with Brandon to do the work. Brandon took the time to come to my home to see the space for himself to give me an accurate estimate and to explain to me in detail how he would go about doing the work. Once hired, he did an extraordinary job making my walls look new again. Brandon is knowledgeable, experienced, and meticulous. He is also friendly, honest, reliable and hard-working. We could not be happier with the results, and we will be turning to him again to do the same work for the rest of our home. As for Golden Years, they were quick and efficient in getting us a quote. 100% recommend!

We are all (especially seniors) struggling to stay in our homes and with high taxes, etc. this is very hard these days. After our closet rack came down in our bedroom we contacted Golden Years, handyman John had it repaired in no time. He provided us with quality work and the price was great. I would without hesitation recommend this company to seniors and others who need something done without having the burden of high cost or shoddy work. Golden Years you have my vote and I will be calling you in the future for any repairs.

I needed help hanging two heavy duty mirrors. The first company rep I was referred to didn't call me back or respond to any of my messages and finally three weeks later I called the office to find out he disappeared on them. I asked for a second reference so I could get someone in finally, and although a new representative did call me, he couldn't remember the name of the company he worked for - he kept calling it Golden Stars so I gave up on the company altogether.
