Mount Saint Joseph Hospital: Emergency Department

Waited 1hr outside at 4°c with one of two gas burners not working. That said triage process and nurses were efficient in taking temperature check, blood sample, and swab test over following hour.Apparently they are a very small ER with no waiting room inside?Oh and pay the $8 for 12 parking, don't pay $3.50/h and renew 4-5 times like I did! It's ER after all and chance is you'll be here for 3-4 hours, at least.

Exceptional hospital staff. They keep everything very clean and are incredibly helpful.

Not suitable for sick or weak people. If you're not strong enough to fight back hypothermia I would recommend an another emergency.

I'm from Colombia and I was kinda scared to go to the Hospital and I decided to go to Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and I'm happy that I did it. Their service is outstanding, the people who work there are very nice and the doctors too. Definitely I would recommend anyone that needs to go to an Emergency go to Mount Saint Joseph.

I decided to go to Mount St Joseph Hospital ER after reading the reviews on Google, and I don’t regret it at all! I was pretty anxious when I arrived but the staff, nurses and doctors were really nice, caring and reassuring. They were super efficient too and made me feel listened to. They examined me in no time and they ran different tests that made me way more serene after my visit.I would definitely go back there when in need of emergency care, they’re doing a great job!

Zero care or compassion. I've overheard the nurses laughing with one another at patients on 2 separate occasions. When I checked in (9am) I told them I'm my pain was 8/10 and that I had taken Tylenol 4 hrs prior to my arrival, and that I haven't been able to drink water or eat food due to pain for at the time (20hrs now approaching 26hra) . It's now 1:45. Nobody has checked on me let alone ask me how I'm doing or if I need anything. I understand it's busy, but I've never been treated like this in any health care setting or anywhere for that matter. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Thank you for helping during my medical emergency. Dr O'Donnell (second time I've had her for my emerg doc) is through, kind, reassuring, knowledgable - and always busy. She answered all my questions.The entire ER team made me feel comfortable & cared for during one of the scariest 24 hours of my life - even though I had to stay overnight. The primary care doctors on the Family Care floor informed me of how to deal with my injury & what my next 4 - 6 weeks will look like. They answered all my questions and gave me options for my primary care. ThxThank you for getting me through another medical mystery, advising me on care & making me feel like I'd made a great decision to go to My St Joseph Hospital.

Triage was efficient, wait time was minimal, washrooms were clean, security was present, co- vid 19 rules are in effect (masks mandatory, screening by staff, shots necessary for visiting, distance maintained between patients ). A pleasant Emergency Room experience.
