I just brought my puppy for the first time. I really appreciated that they had a separate area for small dogs because mine is still very timid a around other dogs.It was beautifully maintained, with a nice forest walk to get to it!All the other dog owners there while I was were extremely friendly and respectful.

I've tried this park twice and cannot go back unfortunately. There are two dogs the appear to be regulars Chapel" (white with beige patches/speckles) and "Pavel" or "Pavo" (tri coloured) they gang up on other dogs and their owners laugh it off or are unable to control their dogs.I brought my 7 month old puppy there who is friendly but not dominant/aggressive at all

It's fine if you want to bring your unneutered dogs here. The intact males aren't the problem, the females are. If your unneutered female dog is going to be in heat or is in heat, don't bring her. It doesn't only cause a disturbance with the intact male dogs, the neutered male dogs get confused too.

WOW! The walk there is long, however, it's a beautiful walk through tall trees and a wide clean path. The off leash itself is huge and has trees you can walk through on the one side. Poop bags and garbages are provided at the entrance of the fenced area. It has an interlock which goes to separate entrances to a small dog off leash and a large dog off leash. Definitely recommend. Will upload more photos next time!

One of our favorite spots. Huge open area and a section of wooded area. There is a separate area for little dogs. It can get very hot in the summer with limited shade. Bring water for your dog and you.

I really liked this dog park even though the day we went it was empty. It is a nice walk from the parking lot along the grand river to the fully fenced in area where you can decide between large or small dog enclosure. The only issue I had was with the google directions. Do not go to Bloomingdale like google tells you to. It leads to a private lane where I spoke to a lady who informed me that this happens all the time, but I was on the wrong side of the river. Check the directions for Kiwanis park, not the Kiwanis Dog park.

Love how big this dog park is. There's a short hike to access it, and both a small and large dog area. It is absolutely infested with mosquitoes so be sure you come prepared.

Nice off-leash dog park. Pleasant long walk from the parking lot to the off-leash areas which have separate large and small dog areas. Snack bar near the parking lot during warmer seasons.

Largest (prove me wrong) dog park in KW! Orion always has a blast!!! Nice that they have a divided area for small dogs (under twenty five pounds) so those people dont have to worry about my dog running their tiny dogs over!

Best dog park in K/W! Wonderful to walk around, especially at sunset when the sun is just peeking out from behind the woodlands surrounding the park. Please use common sense though; keep walking, and counter clockwise. I've seen several groups that simply stop on the track or walk up and down in a straight line and not in a circle like you should. The moment you do that, you're teaching your dog to be territorial, which more often than not (in the times I've been there*) has caused aggressive behavior between dogs.
