Pretty big tree. Nice. Lots of mosquitoes. Good view of the river if you follow the road past the tree. I have questions about they determined that this was the biggest tree in the province, but I’m not going to argue with it.

This was a lovely drive and a great diversion. It is a stunning tree, 5 metre girth. It's about 12 km off of highway 12, first on gravel, then on single lane dirt road. The North Saskatchewan River is a short walk away - be sure to check out this beautiful valley.

The big tree is amazing in itself as it has survived so many years. It is just a few meters from the river in the most amazing setting. A must see in Saskatchewan!!!

Not the tallest but it is the widest! Would recommend having bug spray, a lot of mosquitoes. For some reason, there's not a lot by the tree.

Recommend seeing, but go when the roads are dry on a warm sunny day, could be too muddy after heavy rainfalls! There's a narrow road to drive down too, will get muddy & rutty at the bottom, so absolutely don't drive R.V's or pull behind campers down there....cars & trucks only!!!
