Fencing Academy of Calgary

Our daughter started fencing in the Fencing Academy of Calgary when she was 8 years old and continues her lessons in the club. There is always friendly atmosphere in the club and great support from the coach starting from the very first lessons and small local competitions up to the national level events.

Vadim is a very experienced and dedicated coach, who truly cares about his students, no matter what age they are. Our whole family enjoyed the classes in the club. We started from having 0 skills and knowledge about fencing , and in one year we were competing in local and provincial competitions(of course it is not mandatory) It was fun! Our child achieved highest results in his discipline and earned his first medals in his age group, thanks to Vadim again! We had personal and group classes, which we enjoyed a lot! FAOC is a great club with welcoming atmosphere, personal approach, and great people!

The coach, Vadim is a real epee professional. You can't go wrong trying to learn fencing from the likes of him.
