Emilie is a wonderful photographer. She walked us through how to pose, and got to know us, making us feel welcome and comfortable during our engagement and wedding shoots. She’s got a laid back personal style that’s easy to work with. Her photos are absolutely amazing, and she did a great job making colours pop! She was very open to our random photo ideas and was able to make what we envisioned come to life in her photos. She was able to capture a lot of emotional moments in our wedding, which we are very grateful for! I would highly recommend her!

Emilie was our wedding photographer and she also did an engagement shoot for us. We are based in Calgary while she is in Edmonton - despite this she was so accommodating on the location and timing of our photos. She was incredibly friendly and made us feel more comfortable during the shoot (and even have some fun!). The photos she took are so lovely and they captured such a wonderful time in our lives. Both the candid and posed photos were exactly what we were hoping for! She takes bright and lively photos. We could not be happier with our experience with Emilie and would gladly work with her again in the future should the opportunity arise!

Émilie put my partner and myself at ease and captured our personalities during our engagement session and wedding day. I chose her based on her beautiful outdoor photos, and did not go wrong! She walked us through a freeeezing winter engagement photo shoot, and helped keep things really stress-free and easygoing on our summer wedding day. She turned around our wedding album punctually and managed to capture the emotion and excitement in a way that makes me relive it when I go through the photos. Émilie was great at answering random questions and helped me relax through the whole experience.She caught some remarkable candid moments and I am so grateful to her for being part of our day.Oh! And one thing I remember stressing about when looking for photographers was whether they did well in low light. Émilie captured fantastic photos during the dance and especially got great shots of the kids at my request.

Emilie was amazing to work with! A lot of wedding planning advice suggests that you find a photographer whose personality you mesh with, because they are the vendor you will likely spend the most time with. My now-husband and I got along well with her during our first meeting and we were impressed by the full albums she showed us, so we were sold. It turned out to be a great decision!Emilie is very friendly, talented, and provides a lot of guidance and suggestions for clients who are not as comfortable in front of the camera. It was genuinely enjoyable spending the day with her and her second shooter Shalene. Emilie also went above and beyond throughout the whole process! She was so thoughtful and accommodating in every way.Finally, I love how our photos turned out! Her style is very natural – she didn’t airbrush us into oblivion (like Lucille Bluth – any AD fans out there? My husband is cringing at my joke lol). The photos of us look like US. If this is important to you, I highly recommend Emilie.

I can't recommend Emilie highly enough. Her rates are very reasonable and there is never any pressure to commit to more than what your budget can accommodate. We booked our engagement shoot before we had firm wedding plans and we loved the results so much we also booked her for our elopement and reception as soon as we picked a date. Since the wedding package also included an engagement shoot, she came to Jasper to shoot our elopement as well as the reception. We wanted some night-time shots at the reception, but the weather was terrible that day, so Emilie allowed us to bank the extra time we hadn't used yet for a future adventure shoot. We received the proofs back very quickly and there is not a single shot (out of over 500!) that I didn't like. I'm not the most natural in front of camera and don't usually photograph well, but the photos were truly stunning. Everyone who has seen them commented on how beautiful they are and how Emilie managed to capture our emotions in print. Anyone can make models look gorgeous, but it takes someone truly special to make the rest of us look (and feel) like we could be models too. Thank you for helping to make our special day(s) so memorable!

Émilie shot engagement photos and wedding for us in June 2021.We originally picked Émilie as we found her sharp, attentive, and easy to talk to. We were also very impressed with her portfolio of work at a competitive price.She was wonderful to work with. The entire time she was accommodating, thorough, and patient. She did a good job of balancing providing direction when we were unsure of what to do, with listened to our needs and wants for photos.Everyone at the ceremony loved her and she made our guests feel like she was there for them as well as us.Émilie was super willing work with us when we had to reschedule due to COVID and allowed us to carry our deposits forward.We were very happy with the quality of photos, and work she did for us in general. We feel like Emilie put in a huge amount of work at a very reasonable price.We would recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer for any event.Thank you so much!

Words cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Émilie is, not only as a photographer but as a human being as well. She is so lovely and will make you feel much less nervous about doing your shoot and give amazing direction as to how you should pose. I can't believe how fantastic these pictures turned out to be and is definitely going to be a major highlight from my wedding journey. Working with Emilie was amazing! she was incredibly friendly and professional!I researched a lot of photographers before we choose to hire Emilie Photography for our wedding photographer! She was not pushy in any way (something I admire especially in todays economy in Alberta-I found a lot of photographers we emailed were extremely pushy), I loved her style and the way she uses natural lighting! She got all the shots we wanted for our engagement and wedding photos! we received everything in a timely manner! (a lot quicker then most photographers quoted for a time frame).We had our wedding at the end of November were sunlight leaves early and our ceremony may of been later then should of been but never once did we feel super rushed to get moving for family and bridal party formals, even if she was stressed or panicked about how much sunlight was left we couldn't tell! and managed to get all the photos in that we really wanted (fr4om taking off on a snowmobile, to nighttime long exposure shots with sparklers!). Not only that but with my husband and I choosing to do outdoor ceremony and photos (including outside nighttime photos) mid winter! she Jumped at the chance to be our photographer and layered up and embraced the winter with us!!From our very first email communications we knew we wanted to hire her!! And we are more then happy we did!

Émilie was amazing to work with - she listens to everything you have to say and treats you like a friend. One of my favourite qualities is her ability to go with the flow. We were able to go through the day at our own pace and not once did we feel like we were being pushed to get everything done quicker for the next shot. Her style highlights the natural beauty of the moment as well as the environment, and the results are breathtaking. Emilie is so easy to work with - right from the initial meeting, to planning a wedding day schedule that flowed perfectly, to rescuing hairdos with an emergency bobby pin, to every email we exchanged. Through it all, we felt so at ease - like we were getting together with a friend to visit. She makes being photographed a lot easier with her calm, quiet confidence and captures those little moments in between that you wouldn't always expect someone could catch on camera.
