We got robbed today. Charged over $500 for two small fillings for a 5-year old. They charged $200 x2 for “tooth colour restoration” which we did not have an option for a more affordable option. I’ve had two fillings for my adult teeth and paid half of this at my old dentist.With a pregnant wife and mat leave coming, they’ve completely took advantage of us. How can people without benefits afford this?

Dr Shoniker's receptionist Amber is rude and unprofessional and I wouldn't waste your time enduring her ego for the sake of a cleaning. However, parking is convenient and Washago is a lovely village to visit. Maybe put up with Amber's nauseating attitude if you have no other dental options?

With my greeting from Neil, to my 2.5 hours with Cody, my quality time with Dr. Smith (Lindsay), and my completed and well handled paperwork with Amber when leaving, each and everyone was professional, polite, and made for an absolutely pleasant trip to the Dentist! Thanks!

I have no idea about these negative reviews.... just finished my first visit. Had x-rays and a cleaning. Amber was nowhere near rude. She was a delight!Dr Shoniker was very thorough with her exam and went through my x-rays with me. Her assistant was wonderful. Becky cleaned my teeth. She was gentle and did a great job. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. Would highly recommend.

I’m a pretty nervous patient and I was just coming off a bad experience at my last visit (freezing didn’t take, not dr. Shonikers fault) so my visit today was definitely difficult for me from the start.Dr Lindsay made me feel so comfortable with her calm demeanour and and gentle method. First of all she placed the freezing perfectly so it worked and worked quickly. This was by far the least painful filling I’ve ever experienced! After the freezing wore off I had ZERO pain. I am blown away.Amber the receptionist is also AN ANGEL and also was a great help to me and my nervousness.

I was having issues with a wisdom tooth and as soon as I called in Amber was incredible getting me in ASAP. At my appointment everyone is the office were kind and I had a great experience. Weeks later it started to act up again and they were super accommodating to help in anyway they could. I'd highly suggest them to anyone, they listen and are thorough!

Very unhappy with this office Dr.Shoniker yelled at my 2-1/2 year olds for playing in the waiting room. (Not loud not running around). I would not take kids there she is not kid friendly at all. Horrible..I would give no stars but it won't let me.Would like to add the rest of the staff was great and amazing to deal with to bad she is the dentist.

I was very transparent that I was LEAVING my previous dentist who did not care for ONGOING issues with my teeth. I was very clear that after this first visit with them, I needed some legitimate direction about what is going on. Dr Shoniker pokedd around after the cleaning told me I needed 4 CAVITIES FILLED and left before I could even close my mouth to talk/ ask questions. I left crying with no follow up or information provided. Never going back.
