Such a beautiful store - I’ve been to many local yarn stores in Ottawa and this is one of my favorites. The inside is so organized and clean, you can get lost looking at this yarn for a long time. Service was also great, a lady helped me how to identify yarn weight properly, and other things as well. Really an amazing store with so many options…

So much squishy yarn. The owner is such a lovely person and so knowledgeable. I'm knew to knitting and may have bombarded her with questions. I felt like I had been going to her store for years. Looking forward to my next visit.

Wide assortment of yarn both local, Canadian and other big and small brands. I always try to visit when I am visiting Orleans. The owner is also really helpful.

Good selection on necessities and yarns as well. It is hard owning a small business and the owner does as much she can. It is not easy at all. For those who complain about the owner, get a life.

Really disappointed after my visit today. The store has some beautiful quality yarn, but the store owner was so rude to my mother that it’s put me off completely. We were the only customers in the store and asked for help finding a specific gauge. The owner was gruff and condescending, and made a really dismissive and insulting comment towards my mum. She directed us towards the most expensive yarn first as usual (which I mean, fair game it’s her business) but she is rather insistent on trying to oversell you on how much you need. Other reviewers have used the word “pushy” and I’m inclined to agree. She’s been this way in my previous visits over the last 2 years but this was extra rude and really hurt our feelings.The store itself does have lovely yarn, lots of Merino mixes and alpaca, hand-dyed options, and so on. It was the go-to in my mind for high quality projects, but I’m going to seek out other yarn stores in Ottawa before I consider going back. I’m pretty bummed out to be honest.

The owner was so kind and helpful, but also gave up space to browse on our own. She gave me advice on how much to get. Great selection too!

Beautiful yarn, great selection. Unfortunately, the staff was rude, inconsiderate, and pushy. She made the experience rather stressful when it should have been fun. I did buy the yarn I needed, but I won’t return to this store — easier, cheaper and less stressful to just buy online.

Worst customer service ever. Lady was very rude. Was just completely disrespectful. Being a small business owner, you think they would welcome people into the business. The worst thing is she over charged us. When we had to go back, we were informed we were very rude. Well charge the correct price and maybe we would not have to go back to that dam store. Will never go into that store again.

Always a pleasure to deal with. Excellent selection of yarns, needles and accessories. Very good selection of sock yarns, but also of most other weights. Lots of Rowan stuff.Also, posters showing how some brands knit up, which is very nice.I'll be back.

Great selection of yarns but for the most part the staff is not great when you are looking around. A teenage shopper mentioned she was completely ignored even though she was a knitter. Felt like imposition when I asked for help. I had one nice helpful person in 4 visits. I would go back for the selection but not if I needed any sort of staff support.
