West End Farmers Market

looks like only white vendors gets approved to sell all over the west end neighbourhood actually...Very limited variety of stuff as a result. No diversity of options to taste so yeah it takes the fun out of farmers market visits for me. I go elsewhere. Need more vegan, vegetarian n natural health conscious food options.

*****MAY 21 to OCTOBER 29*****My daughter and I walked through the rain to go to the West End Farmers Market on May 14. Google said it was open at 9 am. We arrived at 9:20 only to find a sign saying the market begins on May 21, the following weekend. I requested a change for this but I am not sure if it will change.Despite not finding a farmers market, we did find a very relaxing park. There was a very active community garden as well as a well attended off leash dog park. We enjoyed looking through the garden plots and watching the dogs play.We enjoyed our time and will have to come back when the market is on and the weather is better.

Great farmers market every Saturday in the summer. Music, food and great selection of vendors with seasonal produce, cheese, meat, fish, baked goods and crafts.

Great selection of fresh produce and locally made goods, variety of organic growers on site each week. Care being taken to manage COVID with single direction traffic flow, encouraged spacing & disinfectant.

Nice farmer market at Nelson park, with colourful merchandise. Vegetables, fruits, maple, spices and more. The place is crowded so you should put on a face mask. Expensive prices. Highly recommended.

Very nice farm market open on Saturday morning with extensive selection of organic produce

I really enjoy going to this market and am making a point of going four weeks in a row so that I can have the best chance of seeing most of the vendors. They are all friendly and very helpful if you have questions. I not only buy fresh fruit and vegetables, but also skin care products that are made right here in BC. It is great to support local farmers and local entrepreneurs. The market is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.

It's the best way to spend my Saturday mornings during summer. Fresh veggies and fruits, homemade products and delicious options at food trucks. I'm sure gonna miss it, can't wait for the next one!

Lots of different sellers with a good variety of items to check out. Market is situated in a nice area with chairs to sit too.
