We highly recommend Common Ground! Working with the team was such a positive experience.We worked with the Common Ground team to update our entire front yard from a nutrient poor clay soil environment with non local plants to a transitioning space with improved soil and local plant life. Within a few short months we have began to see more life present in our yard due to the local plants and their amazing compost tea. We now have a front yard in a state that is more suited for the prairies and will continue to thrive as it grows and matures each year. We can't wait to see the space transform even more!Cass and Taylor are so extremely knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and authentic. Their focus on sustainability, local plants, and environmental design is a beautiful mix.

We worked with Common Ground on a community project helping people develop new garden spaces with the goal of increased food sovereignty, community building, restoring land to its natural state, and improved water management. We hired them and they did jobs at several locations with various people and groups. They conducted themselves honourably and accomplished the goals we had set out. They are extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and most of all: they are 100% authentic and devoted to sustainable living in all aspects of both their business and personal lives.

We hired Common Ground to work on our front and back yards, and are extremely happy with their work! We recommend them very highly.They regraded both yards, added a patio in our backyard, new gardens in both, as well as dry ponds to help with managing water when it rains. On top of all that, the results are really beautiful!The whole Common Grounds team was super friendly, helpful, motivated and energetic. We have been using Taylor and Cass for the last five years to slowly update the gardens around our house. Taylor, Cass and the team were able to scale the amount of work to fit our budget for the year. They also spent the time to listen to what was important to us and then used their knowledge of plants that are native to the area plus their knowledge of regenerative design and permaculture to create and install designs that are supportive of local ecosystems and easy to maintain (assuming that your dog doesn't eat them or dig them up!). They have also been able to provide garden awakening" services that gives our beds a kick start in the spring (ask Cass about his compost tea!). All in all we have had a great experience with Taylor

Cass and Taylor (and team) have helped maintain and develop two properties for us over the past few years. They have been wonderful to work with-- extremely flexible in terms of working with our budget and with our goals for the spaces, as well as being very willing to involve me in the process and educate along the way. I look forward to seeing them again this year. I would highly recommend.

Last summer, Common Ground designed and installed new yards for us. Our backyard is no longer just the place where the barbecue is. I've never been more eager to get out and enjoy the outdoor living spaces that they created. They took our vague ideas and made something that suited us perfectly.

Cass & Taylor were a pleasure to work with. From the first phase of designing to the final end product. Both were very knowledgeable and hard working. They listened to our sustainable & regenerative needs and formulated a layout to meet them.
