I love working for Home Instead. It has given me so many opportunities to grow as an individual and within the community. I love the relationships I have built and I will forever cherish them.I also love that the office team does a wonderful job at recognizing the care givers who are onsite in clients homes and being available to help at any given time!

Response time for phone calls is almost immediate if you have left a message after hours. Otherwise a real person answers the phone. You can book or cancel a caregiver 24 hours ahead. If one caregiver doesn't mesh with you they will get you someone else. If an unforeseen problem happens that a giver will be late your notified right away.

Clients are amazing! I go to work with a smile on my face. The office staff is always helpful and friendly.What is disappointing is the pay and no mileage going from client to client. This could be quite a distance. You get reimbursed if you take a client out, just not getting to that client.

Horrible experience. Would not recommend.

If you are looking for help with ageing parents/relatives in your life… You have found the best senior care available in Calgary! Our family found Chelsea at home instead to go above and beyond, every time we needed help. The people that Home Instead hire, are of the highest caliber, in training, and compassion. Their workers are dependable, hard working and do not continually need direction from family members.Yes, private care can be costly but this is definitely a case of the fact you get what you paid for! My family is definitely indebted to Home Instead for the excellent care they gave my dad and the wonderful support they gave my mom. It allowed my dad to spend the last year of his life at home, in peace and surrounded by people he loved. Worth every penny!

I have been employed with Home Instead Senior Care for about 5 years, and during that time there main focus is most definitely Client care. But secondly they take care of there employees. I have always felt very supported by management and support staff. They are friendly and kind whenever I call or pop in.I would recommend Home Instead for anyone who wants competitive wages and flexibility.

Terrible. Theft was involved by a employee and the husband and wifeowners said there hands were tied and nothing was done. If you hire strangers into your home make sure you have surveillance. It is unfortunate.
