The quality of the ingredients in the food is high, but in the pear salad with feta, candied pecans and cranberries I ordered was very light on feta, pecans and cranberries. I counted a pecan (two halves) and maybe 6 cranberries. This was in part made up for by the generous toppings on the nachos ordered after.Their Patio is also a neighbourhood staple, and large so your chances of getting a spot is good.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't say I like the fish or coleslaw ( I didn't even understand that thing is coleslaw!). Tartar sauce tastes like mayo, that's all. The wings were ok, but if you want to ask for salad instead of fries, you have to pay $6!!!

Ihave visited this place about a week ago and was very disappointed in many level. Will never visit again and stop my friends from going there.Ordered a Steak Frites from the menu which is $26.95This is what they have served me. It was way too salty and way too cooked as I have ordered medium rare. I sent it back to the kitchen saying it’s too salty and too well done.Waitress brought the steak back to me to tell me that it is medium rare according to the chef.I sent it back and tell them it is still too cooked. What I have in the photo is what they have brought after my complaint. It was still too salty, I was not able to swallow it.Also this is definitely not ‘medium rare’. It’s closer to well done.I will attach a reference of medium rare according to my google research.

It’s a okay place to grab a bite while strolling around St. Lawrence Market. It’s bigger than it looks from the road. The restaurant's proximity to the Gooderham Building adds to its appeal. Additionally, if you choose to sit outside, you'll appreciate the glass barricade towards the street, which provides peace of mind regarding the safety of your belongings. It's worth noting that the area has a noticeable presence of homeless individuals laying around in the streets. I got a vibe that this area is not safe, particularly after evening hours. So I left a bit early, approx by 7:30 PM.

Adam and Jason where super nice and welcoming. The service was really quick. Food was very well prepared and they did great with dietary concerns. Very cheap for toronto. Great atmosphere and a great place to go for dinner with the family. The decorations were also very cool.

Was larger than how it looks outside. My friend and I ordered 2lb wings. We got half with honey garlic and half with Hot. The chicken wings a good size and juicy with a slight crisp. Service was great too!

I didn't eat here because I only popped in for a few drinks, but the menu looked good - classic sort of pub fare - but they have a great list of beer on tap and bottled as well as spirits and wine. Nestled on the north side of King, kitty-corner to St Lawrence Market, and shaded by nice leafy trees, The Jason George provides a cool respite from the heat and a beautiful spot to enjoy a good conversation or just watch people and life stroll on by ... One of my personal favourites down in the oldest part of Toronto ...

We were a large group of nearly 20 looking for a warm place for food and drinks after spending some time at the Distillery District's Winter Market. We were so happy that the Jason George could accommodate us on such short notice! The person on the phone was very kind and helpful! We just walked over and were able to get the whole back section to ourselves. The place was nice, with great service and decent food! Would recommend!
