Asked to witness and sign a simple land transfer document and they refused saying they didn't have enough information. Didn't tell me what more they needed and implied that I was lying and was going to transfer the property to a different person. I contacted another notary and they had no problem signing the document.

Avoid! Sent an email about a simple job of notarising my signature, which was ignored. Phoned him a couple of days later, and he answered the phone sounding like he just woke up, didn’t say who it was or what the business was when he answered the phone, and then said oh yeah we don’t do that kind of thing.
