My mother is a resident there. The staff and service they provide are the best that can be offered for a city-ran location.

I liked the place & most of the staff. The staff I didn't like ranged from lazy to incompetent to criminally negligent

I was there almost 3 months to do inpatient rehab for a tib-fib break because my physical condition does not allow for crutches. Normally a seniors residence they had a floor designated as physio rehab to cash in on bridgepoint unavailability. Luckily the new brìdgepoint is open as this was not their finest idea. First off food, nurses & (permanent) staff were the bomb. The physio add on was a complete bomb. The physiotherapist was inept (when he bother to even show) took credit for others work & frequently cancelled other patients appointments. The outreach staff were beyond ineptitude & caused more problems than they solved. All in all It was a nightmare/joke.In closing nice place to visit or to live out your golden years ( they even have a secure demented wing) the grounds are lovely with a vintage water feature, the location could not be more convenient & the residents were a delight. As a rehab facility ... thank God bridgepoint is done cause this was easily one of my most unpleasant life experiençes.

My grandmother is at Fudger House - she now experiences more attention and care that the 'extra-cost' services she was requiring at her retirement home. I particularly like the interaction - the residents are not isolated in their own rooms, left to be lonely.

This is where my mother resides. The staff here are absolutely fantastic. Everybody goes above and beyond for the safety and care of the residents.

This is a decent place as compared to a few others I've been to. Staff is mostly friendly staff and service is above average. There is a wing that services the Chinese side with Cantonese speaking staff. Even some of the non-asian staff managed to pick up a few Cantonese words.Facilities are quite clean. Some areas do have a heavy odour (but which seniors place is without those areas?)All-in-all, its an above average facility. Parking is very limited.

Although this place seems to be a clean place, it is not what we expected. My mom was brought there by us based on what we saw and assume she would get good care from the staff there. Unfortunately, it was not the case. She was neglected since she had Alzheimers. It is very bad that they treated my mom liked that. My lost 30 pounds in 3 months time and had 2 Pneumonia twice and I think I know why. The staff at times would not feed my mom while in the upright position but instead in the lying down position which cause liquid to go into her lungs. Also, my mom was left in the bed for 24 hours a day until we took out of bed.Once I saw a nurse feeding a resident there while she was lying down on the bed. I was shocked and told her that was not right. It is best to look after your parent in your home then at this place. All you need is to hire a PSW /caretaker that will look after your dad or mom on a one -to-one basis. With the fee you pay here, you can pay this to the PSW. Unlike here, one PSW looks after up to 20 residents. There is no way that a PSW(Personal Support Worker) can look after up to 20 residents in an hour. It is over demanding and tiring for each PSW.Think about before sending your mom or dad to this place or any old age homes.
