The Landlord BC team helped us during a crisis with an extremely problematic tenant. I would recommend their services to any Landlords that is not a member of this group.

Excellent source of legal information and clarification on procedures to manage your rentals up to and including the legal process for evictions, rent increases and your rights as a landlord. Recommend to use their lease agreement as it covers all aspects. Landlord BC guided us thru 2 really messy evictions with damages to our property. We sued via RTB and won both cases and were paid by the tenants for damages. We also relieved a reduction in our insurance policies because we were members, and that alone covered the cost of membership. Good luck to you in BC.

I have at times received different or outright wrong answers to questions I have asked depending on who at the office or on the phone that I have talked to over the years. Overall they are a good resource but long ago I have stopped taking everything I'm told at face value. It's a idea to ask what part of the act they are basing the answer on to double check it.

This website had a poster in my local MLA's office, but the poster said that this RentItRight.ca" website was for tenants so that they could be more informed and educated about how to rent

My husband & I manage a small apartment building in Victoria, BC. In late July we had a tenant who we had to evict. It was a difficult situation & the tenant challenged the eviction. We needed help with the process & we contacted Landlord BC. Lisa Henderson became our fountain of knowledge!! She was amazing! Always ready to listen & guide us through this tricky eviction.We were given a date Dec. 13, 2021 for the arbitration hearing. A 5 month wait !!!! Although we have managed this building for 25 yrs; we have had so little experience in the arbitration process we relied on Landlord BC to keep us on the right track !! Lisa did exactly that!!Without Landlord BC we couldn’t have come away with a more positive outcome.So thank you Landlord BC & thank you Lisa!!
