As for the comment above regarding the owner being rude and having no communication skills, I am willing to overlook this, as I have been a customer for more than 30 years, and have never had a bad shoe repair incident! If you're looking for witty banter, go to the food court and have a coffee... He works alone and has a huge workload, yet always delivers excellent results exactly on time, and for the price quoted. This little business is a true asset to our community, and I'm happy to recommend it to anyone needing repairs to any leather, canvas, footwear, or something as simple as good quality shoe laces!

Excellent job of re-soling my Rockport Hydro-Shield, Thinsulated, hiking boots with new Vibram soles last year! Still are like brand new! Peter gives great advice on shoe repair options. If shoes are junk, he'll tell you not to repair them.

Peter re-soled and re-heeled my 15 year old Frye heavy motorcycle riding boots at a very reasonable cost. Brought them back to practically brand new! Excellent service and very good job. Sent my buddy’s to him and they were just as happy. What is with the negative reviews? I suspect the local demographics of cranky elderly retirees in White Rock. GET OFF MY LAWN!

The owner was so rude and accusatory when I asked him to complete something he charged me for. He charged $20 to replace heels on boots and $25 for sewing an elastic/leather seam on same boots, when I paid/picked up the boots the sewing was not done, when l asked why he charged me $25 for sewing he says he doesn't sew leather...When I asked him to confirm why he charged me $55 on the ticket he got very mad and loud. All I hold is a little yellow ticket with one price that says $55, no details on item breakdown and no proof of anything we discussed... only hand written receipts .... spent over $300 here recently and will NEVER be back.

This guy is the best. His prices are higher than some competitors but you're not getting the same thing I had a pair of boots resoled by another local repair shop, and for $42 they put a completely different sole on that looked terrible, was twice as thick and squeaked. Peter's put the correct sole on and eliminated the squeak for $60. He also gave me a bunch of advice on how to treat the leather. Today, I took a pair of vintage pebbled leather shoes that were in pretty rough shape to have them cleaned, reconditioned and polished. This kind of job is one that I know typically costs more than one expects, and the results cannot be guaranteed I was surprised that he was able to do it for $60, and even more surprised when he instead showed me how to perform this task myself. His repairs are top-notch, and the goods he sells are high quality

Peter was GREAT ♡ He gave me some good advice on how to repair my beloved backpack...the zipper pulled away and bent....he sewed in some strong waxed thread to make it so the zippers don't go to far and get ripped off.. ....He had it ready in a day ....a day in advanced.....he was a super nice guy and will def go back to give him more business ♡ Thanks for being so kind and helping me..it was much appreciated ♡

Wow, can’t say enough good things about Peter! I brought in a very beat up pair of scarpas and he made them brand new. He fixed them in 3 days, I dropped them off on a Monday had them back on Wednesday!

Might cut you off mid sentence but he's way better than the local competition. The fella near the wooden spoon couldn't give me a rough price or eta - paid $30 for some serious shoe repairs and Peter will have it done in 3 days. You won't find very friendly service here but he gets the job done.
