The fish was very heavily battered and the fries were very greasy.For the quality of the food it was overpriced, 2 x 2 PC fish and chips with fries and no beverages was $32 and change.I really wanted to love it, there were so many great reviews. But we honestly felt gross after our lunch and won't be back.Portion size: It did seem like a lot, but it was a lot of batter and a lot greasy fries. I had to eat my fish without the batter, and yes the fish itself is good, but minus the batter there isn't much left.

They told us 20 mins but when we git there the food had clearly been sitting for a while, the lettuce on the chicken caesar wrap was cooked so it was like trying to eat hot, tough seaweed. The fries looked like they were good when they were fresh but by the time we got them they were soggy from sitting. I think I'll go elsewhere from now on.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Fish and chips were great. Served hot and just melted in your mouth. Ordered the 2 piece Fish and chips and an extra plate and it was enough for 2. Very friendly staff.

The burger was delicious. Very juicy with lots of toppings. I got the works on it. Everyone around me was raving about how amazing their chicken is. Can't wait to try that next time!

Excellent food. Group of 5 ate together here and we all enjoyed our meals. Tasty and quick. Don't miss opportunity to pop in for bite to eat. And the owner is great guy.

I was deeply disappointed by my most recent visit to Nelly’s. Rather than the delicious fish and mouth-watering clams my family is used to, we were served a full helping of sarcasm and disrespect by one of the staff members behind the counter. We had planned for days on yet another wonderful Friday evening meal at Nelly’s, something we’ve enjoyed plenty of times before. Unfortunately, they were closed due to the heat. That’s completely understandable. What was not understandable was how my family was treated when we went inside to clarify whether they were open or not. My family frequents Nelly’s and considers it one of the gem restaurants of the area but this experience has certainly left us with a sour taste in our mouths.

Best seafood chowder we have had so far! Portions are generous, fish and chips were not greasy and the deep fried pickles are a must try. Staff are super friendly and service is quick. Lots of easy parking, picnic tables for take-out and clean bathrooms.

Just felt like some home fries and Nelly's knows how to make them. I also had mozza sticks but I polished those off before taking a picture. Good home cooking!
