As a regular visitor to Miller Tavern, I feel it's important to share my honest feedback about the place. The ambiance and environment here are consistently enjoyable, making it a good spot to hang out and unwind with friends. However, the overall experience can be hit or miss due to fluctuating service and food quality.During my visit last week, my friends and I were greeted with a somewhat unprofessional and condescending tone. The food is decent. The cocktails are not that good. It was $17 plus and I don’t feel the alcohol at all. The service is good. It is fancy restaurant with romantic vibe. They have special deal for steak for $40 on that night with mashed potatoes, no salads included. Average spent $200 for 2 people.

Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! We stumbled on it by chance looking for something to eat on our way home and were so happy we found this spot.We ordered a few drinks and apps to start, all which were delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the espresso martini but our server James was kind enough to immediately take it back and fix a new one. He also mentioned that their salmon was like the wagyu of salmons and he was not lying (one of the best salmon I’ve ever had.) I guess we were too excited to eat and forgot to take a picture of the burger but OMG… yum. Our stomachs were on the verge of exploding but we couldn’t turn down dessert which obviously did not disappoint either.Overall, our first experience was amazing and it definitely won’t be our last. Huge thank you to James for being so friendly and making sure we were perfectly taken care of. 5 stars for both food and service.Also, they recently renovated the entire restaurant and it looks gorgeous. If you haven’t already, go check this restaurant now!

Came here for a work dinner and had a wonderful time. The upper floor is fully renovated and it was done very nicely, the vibe is so different now. The food was really good, but the staff is absolutely wonderful. We had Maria and James (trying to remember the names, hope I got it correct!) serving our party on Sept 1st.. and they were so professional and welcoming. I’m definitely going to return for a dinner on the patio before it gets too cold. Thank you to the Miller Tavern for an amazing evening! Everyone had a great time.

Great atmosphere for group hangouts. Beautiful patio, clean space. The smell of greenery was definitely pleasant!Food is pricy for how it’s is presented and how it’s cooked, nothing too special! I got sirloin steak and to be honest wasn’t impressed as it was too rough (didn’t finish 50% of it) and my choice of side - house salad was bitter.That said, we enjoyed the service. Our waiter was kind and genuinely tried to make our dining experience pleasant.Overall, I would come back here for hangouts with friends, but not particularly for food.Truth is - it’s hard to find big hidden patio spots in the area, so if quality and presentation of meals can improve - this would become a 5/5 spot with no hesitation.

A Cozy Oasis in North York's Summer Patio Delight! Miller Tavern has become my go-to destination in North York during the summer, and their patio is hands down one of my favorite spots. It's a true oasis away from the bustling city life.On our recent visit, we ordered the seafood crunch, Caesar salad with shrimp, steak, and a burger, beer. Each dish was prepared with care and bursting with flavor, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.The staff was incredibly friendly. The portion sizes were fair. Despite the excellent quality, the bill for our family of three, including tips came to a reasonable total of $230+.Overall, Miller Tavern continues to deliver on its promise of exceptional dining experiences. The cozy atmosphere and abundance of greenery on their patio create an enchanting setting. The menu caters to various tastes, ensuring that there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly outing or a romantic evening, Miller Tavern is the place to be.
