I just want to start by saying Brandon at BTJ Custom Marine is the guy to go to when it comes to anything related to your boat . The guy is very knowledgeable in what he does . I took my formula 271 to him with fuel issues . As soon as I told him over the phone how the boat was acting up he immediately knew the problem. When I brought the boat to him he was very detailed on what was going to take place and reassured me that the boat will run better than it has from factory. With the new fuel system and a quick tune that he did he was exactly right ! Boat was a night and day difference.I was very pleased! He stands by his work and it shows ! Very down to earth guy and also very fair pricing . Communication is key in my eyes when it comes to these businesses and he never fell short! Won’t be taking my boats anywhere else besides BTJ CUSTOM MARINE!

Bought a set of props for my boat last spring.they didn't work like Brandon said they would.i paid $600.00 for them and i didn't get the RPMS he said i would and they are complete junk. plus he said he would throw in an extra set for free.that never happened. said that was never promised.A year later still have these props and have not been able to sell themHenry Smith said they are worth 80 dollars what a joke.Your words were and i quote You will get the RPM"S out of these props"as for your answer to my feed back is inaccurate your saying " your a boat mechanic i should know what props to run"and so are you and you should know what you're selling.when i messaged you your response was " move on"as far as horse power i told you what I'm running.your review is well deserved."

I think this place has gone out of business. I bought an engine from him. He did not uphold to his end of contract. Im still waiting for parts that were promised, warranty and dyno paperwork. I also dropped off a other engine to get rebuilt and never received a contract on it either.It's very disturbing, he was a great guy until I signed a contract for an engine package.

I hired Brandon and Marius to conduct a marine survey on a boat that I was interested in purchasing and was highly impressed with their expertise. Brandon repaired the dreaded loose swivel shaft problem on my Bravo 3 outdrive. When he disassembled and discovered that a gimbal ring would also be required, he had fast access to a replacement part far cheaper than I could find anywhere. Very professional and courteous, but also personable, and full of helpful tips for his fellow power boat owners. Highest recommendation and respect!

My Boat had issues with the carb Brandon fixed it very quickly let me know everything that he did awesome guy very knowledgeable got my boat back cleaner than what it was when I gave it to him highly recommended for all your Marine needs thanks Brandon you the man

I was struggling with a drive leak on my 1999 Searay and called Brandon at BTJ to come and look at it. It was urgent because I had to launch in 2 days. He scheduled a time for the next day and made sure to text me earlier in the day to confirm the appt. It took him all of 5 minutes to assess the issue and tell me it was a simple fix. He took the time to walk me through the fix and remove the old part. Since he was there he inspected the rest of the boat even though I didnt expect that. Many marine mechanics never call you back but you can tell quickly BTJ is running their business the right way. Highly recommend you reach out to them for all your Boating issues.

I needed some work done on my boat in a hurry because it had sold. Brandon was able to fit me into his schedule, communicated well, and showed up on the day and time that he committed to. (Getting a marine mechanic to commit to an appointment can be a challenge!).He quickly diagnosed my engine problem and fixed it on the spot.
