Enjoyable experience during icewine festival in january, great squash food with the ice wine.

One of the best all round wine lists from any vineyard in the area. The entire facility and tasting area (indoors and outdoors) is beautiful. Well worth coming back again and again.

Just visited Tawse during week day for a charcuterie picnic lunch on the grounds. Paired it with a wine flight of some of their top vintages. Excellent! Rheal was very knowledgeable and personable and made our experience fabulous...thank youl! We will be back!

If I could give a zero I would - was delighted when we pulled in view and site is breathtaking. This was quickly ruined by the discourteous and ignorant 3 staff behind the counter, we were ignored on the top deck .. we finally asked a young lady cleaning glasses how we would be able to get a drink, response was “no clue-try other bar”. So we decided to go to the other bar, finally ordered our drinks only to watch our server leave to start making drinks for other people .. when asked why was extremely rude and that they had an appt - we all had several bottles to purchase .. we told the gentleman behind the bar- he also could have cared less.. and proceeded to put away glasses .. so we walked out and told him we were leaving .. he rolled his eyes and said nothing.. we are now at another winery spending our money .. to think I use to be a member and was going to renew today .. do better .. too much competition to allow your staff to be that ignorant

We really enjoy our visit to Tawse Winery. We booked a library tasting and had a great experience. The cheese plate was delicious, the wines we tasted were something I never tried before. We also had a couple drinks on their garden patio which I really loved. There was also live music which was right what was needed for such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We will certainly come back!

Tawse Winery is a great spot to spend an afternoon if you are in the area. They have a large selection of wine, cider, and liquor. Their wine flights are very reasonably priced (approx. $18 for 4 wines) and they also have a nice selection of unique jams for purchase (for example: apple whiskey flavored jam or spice ice wine jam). It's a beautiful winery with plenty of seating available when we were there.

Came for a visit recently with a group of 4, not overly impressed with the customer service. Service was underwhelming and none of the staff seemed to make an effort to engage us at all. We weren’t even greeted when we entered. We went inside and inquired about the flights and were told we could either place our order inside, or wait outside at a table and someone would come by to take our order. We waited, and waited, and waited. Eventually we went back inside to see about our order, and asked again what the process for ordering is. The gentleman we were talking to was about to explain, however he was cut off from a female employee, who stated that we need to order inside. This is completely different from what we were told originally. The staff did not seem overly friendly or attentive, which had an impact on our overall experience here. The flights were reasonably priced, and we weren’t offered any kind of food or snack menu. The staff didn’t seem they could be bothered to answer our questions, so we finished our flight and left immediately after. I found the wine and other spirits to be a bit overpriced. The ice wine was pretty good, but I didn’t end up buying anything from this place at the time. They did have live music outside, which was nice. The customer service is severely lacking, however. I will be choosing other wineries in the future to visit over this one.

I have been wanting to go to this Vineyard for years after having its wine and a couple of restaurants in Toronto. I have to say it was this song earlier that made the experience terrible. She had absolutely no clue of the wine and couldn’t explain any of the notes in the wines that would help me decide which wine I wanted to taste. We ended up tasting for wines and honestly picked up one just because I felt like I needed to pick up one.

We did a tour with Rheal and we were NOT disappointed! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a great tour, complete with a visit to see Donkey. Really loved the Chardonnay and the sparkling Riesling.We will definitely be back, and came home with a few bottles.

We were served by Sasha and he was great! He overheard us talking to others about the ice wine and brought us over a complimentary sample. It was delicious I may add! The goats at the front of the property are an adorable addition! Will come back!
