Saunders Secondary School

Most honest review here -I was really hoping to have a good experience at this school because I’m a freshman, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. It’s really sad this school has some of the best resources compared to others because the students are so violent. I failed 2 courses last semester because I refused to attend class in fear of my safety. I was attacked by 5 girls in front of the school and the video was posted everywhere, not to mention despite having it all on security footage, administration didn’t do anything. Instead I was set up with a guidance councillor as if the blood and bruises were all in my head.I love the teachers. Most of them teach really well despite being boring sometimes. There needs to be a better way of regulating all the students at once. There are too many stairs, too many turns and you WILL get trampled. The design fails in this building are uncanny. There NEEDS to be consequences for students. You are teaching liars and sneaks.I never thought this kinda thing would happen to me but this is the reality of Saunders. No matter how tough you are I wouldn’t recommend this school to a single soul. Administration should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. I don’t see myself returning next year.

Overall 10/10 fights (good female repersenation) 8/10 Characters (very unique characters but a lot of them fall flat) Story 5/10 ( great story during the Mall arc and the Watergun Arc but pretty boring in the start during the Covid Arc). Animation 7/10 (it's alright but really picks up during fights). Overall 8/10-Update: This year I was excited for where the story will go after the Watergun War arc but all we got was months of filler and the new characters we got are mostly bland, repeats of last cast. Animation quality also dipped though that’s common with fillers. Anyway this filler arc is still ongoing and my boredom has reached its peak though there were some decent parts (2/10). This drops the overall rating to a 5.

The people supervising in the Sabres Den take their job way too seriously. You’re literally supervising a workplace, not a prison so just let me work in peace. I don’t need you all up in my business. They’re also shady and talk about the IEP students after they leave, it’s gross. Some teachers are really good, it’s a shame that they dedicate their time to a broken, run down, budget, violent school. Wouldn’t recommend for the life of me.

This was my first school after moving to canada from the u.k. the stairs were not an issue. go to a brittish school then tell me whats up.

I attended and graduated from this school. Tbh I did have some positive experiences but overall I felt lost in the crowd. Teachers picked favourites, sometimes the school was very unaccommodating, and there was a lot of student violence. I loved the photography teacher and the year book teacher because they were kind and clearly liked their jobs. However, I also remember cruelty from some teachers and a lot of bullying. I was harassed by a group of girls and slapped in the face on the front stairs when they used to be there.

my worst mistake as a parent was letting my son go here. It’s been several years since he attended saunders secondary and he hasn’t been the same since. He’s always holed up in his room and he rarely eats.! he twitches and turns and barks uncontrollably. He attempted to stab his infant brother. He also smells like DIRTY NICKELS AND DIMES!!!’ HE DOEJST SHOWER ANYMORE BECAUSE HAS TRAUMA FROM GETTING SWIRLIES IN THE BATHROOM BY THE STUDENTS AND STAFF.

Worst school ever. Guidance does not help. School is very overcrowded and there are not enough classes for grade 12s because they focus their resources on grade 9s.

Bro I just went to the open house. AND THE SCHOOL IS SOOOOOOOOOOO BIG. I definitely recommend Saunders for your future high school:)
