I started eating here recently and I'm kicking myself for not having tried it sooner. 95% of their dishes are extremely flavourful and fresh. Their service and price is great and if they do happen to make a mistake they are eager to fix it. If you're looking for delicious take-out you can't do any better.

Used to love this place because the price point was fair and the portions were generous and tasty. When ownership changed so did the recipes and portions. The batter I find now is too pancake-like and the portion size has gotten much smaller. Servers are polite and helpful when dining in.

The chicken balls were tough, and the noodles only flavor was soy sauce. But always great before so will order again.

Best Chinese food from CBS to St.John's. Amazing service, nice people and always give you exactly what you wanted! Great portions as well. I buy it almost every second week! The sesame pork is amazing!

Had this at a friend's house again recently: Still the same as 2 years ago. Food is mediocre and poor quality compared to other Chinese food restaurant options in CBS or Town. Extremely long wait time. I really don't understand the loyalty to this restaurant's food when it's just terrible quality.2020: Not the best Chinese food. The interior is dingy, cramped and not aesthetically pleasing. It looks so run down...inside and out. The waiting area is very cramped and parking is terrible. There are better Chinese restaurants in CBS so its not likely I'll return to this one.

Best Chinese Restaurant in St. John's, we have tried all of them but their Cantonese Chow Mein, Sweet Sour pork and other foods are really authentic and fresh. Price and portion is best value. You won't be disappointed.

Have had lots of Chinese food on the Avalon but this one tops them all. Since we have discovered this place we haven’t had anything different. You will not be disappointed. Price is very good, and you you get a lot in the potions. It’s always fresh and always tasty. Staff are friendly. Family favourite!!!
