Manoir des Sables

It's a very nice little town, mostly francophone, but still the little business around the hotel were welcoming.The hotel is very quaint, lovely for a couple. The junior suit was beautiful. My issue was there was no room service. You need to reserve early at the restaurant in the hotel or get food elsewhere, I found it odd for a hotel to have no room service.

Went there for a get away weekend with my husband and there happened to be 2 graduation parties and these young people were basically shouting and screaming in the corridor till 4:30 5 AM.The spa also was super dirty. Never will go back

The location was good we enjoy the lake beside the hotel although room wasn't clean. Aircon didn't work very well. The room was very humid. Net of the balcony's door was broken, we found some insect in the room. Mattresses wasn't comfortable. Indoor pool seems dirty, we haven't even tried it. Outdoor pool was closed for no reason. In total hopefully we were there just for one night, won't try again.

Good hotel, lots of amenities. Photos of the junior suite were a bit better compared to what it looked like.It's decent, but it's not luxury either.

Fairly priced hotel. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Rooms are a bit old.

We went there many times. Nice place but the management and staffs were unstable. Hope they get back on track the next time.

One of those hotels that have seen glorious days but have not been renewed or maintained properly. It looks old and worn. Cleanness is mediocre and sometimes questionable. Not friendly service at all.They won't tell you until you get there, but they will not clean your room daily with the pretext of Covid (in January 2023).Ok price overall. Cozy fireplace, for which you will need to pay the logs.Edit after management response:You will find a card in your room advising that the room will not be cleaned daily, to protect you and the staff. (Not because of lack of personnel, which is indeed a problem in the area, but I don't think it is the guest's responsibility. You should know the limitations before you book.)It also says that you need to pay for the logs, although you find one when you arrive. No mention of a daily quota of free logs. No extra logs were offered within the next days.Two things that are fair to mention though:1. The staff was helpful when arranging the stay over the phone.2. They give you free access to a playground / games-room in an adjacent hotel (Cheribourg). The facilities there are also worn out, but reasonably maintained and clean. Good to keep children entertained for a few hours.

So lots of parking here wifi works well staff polite, the room we had was large nice view of the lake bed uncomfortable bathroom was ok on the last day the chain to flush the toilet snapped I did tell the reception that the toilet was broken when checking out.The restaurant we didn’t eat at all we decided that we would go out elsewhere for breakfast and we had a fridge where we had lots to eat.The gym area was small unfortunately not all machines work the spa area I did use the hot tub first day I tried the hot tubs weren’t hot the 2nd time they were hot and used for a while unfortanetly the floors weren’t clean.While in the room we decided it would be nice that we move the couch to look out the window put it against the wall again due to it hadn’t been moved and wanted to reduce the amount of dirt being moved.

Really nice area, however, overall I can’t give more than 3 stars. Rooms are just OK but room service (if not requested) for stats under 3 days. Bar didn’t have any snacks or food, just drinks and closed early.
