Japadog used to be amazing. I don't know if the shine has just worn off, but I find the quality to have gone down significantly over the last few years. While they may look appetizing, the dogs are now soggy and mediocre, yet you're still paying a premium because of the name. Service is also no longer what it used to be.

Our time in Vancouver was limited and we didn’t have time for my spouse to try the japadog in the city, so I was glad to see Japadog at the airport! He tried the spicy terimayo and I ordered the seaweed fries. It was tasty just like I remembered from my last visit in the province. Staff were friendly and great. Service was fast. Japadog is highly recommended when in Vancouver.

This was my first time in BC and first time trying Japadog, I heard so many raving about this place so I definitely had to try it for myself, I got the cilantro dog and their Japanese curry poutine and it was great! You can treat it as a fast food/street food kinda meal, so you can't expect anything too lavish/gourmet. Very enjoyable still

These are great dogs with great toppings. Well worth stopping here on your way out of the airport. Great and friendly service. Credit and debit cards only. Had the Kurobuta Terimayo and Okonomi. Both were excellent. Dogs can be ordered as vegetarian also, non meat eaters don’t need to stay away from this place.

My go-to for quick bites! I usually get their Wagyu Terimayo or Kurobuto Terimayo. They're quite stuffed so I get full easily - partnered with their fries that is. Their Takoyaki is decent as well! The staff are efficient in handling the orders given that there's always a line of customers.

We were picking up my daughter from her international flight. We had her pick up 3 dogs for us to try. We got the Kurobuta Terimayo billed as most popular and is Kurobuta pork dog, teriyaki sauce, seaweed, fried onions and japanese mayo. Okonomi, 2nd popular and is kurobuta pork dog, Japanese mayo, fried cabbage, Japanese traditional sauce and bonito flakes. And oroshi because my husband likes radishes and it has pork bratwurst, radish (Daikon) green onions and special soy sauce. They were an interesting fusion of flavors.

NOT RECOMMENDED!I ordered Ebi Tempura (on the right) and Kurobuta Terimayo (which is on the left). Unlike in Japan, the staff didn’t wear a mask when making my order, and the staff didn’t wear gloves when touching my bread, disgusting! 2 stars is for a pity.01.25.2023

Pretty decent hotdog place, feels overpriced for what it was. I wish they had more beef options since I can’t eat pork, so it felt really limited. Took a bit to get my order, but the staff were kind

Staff are super efficient in taking orders. I didn't have to wait long despite line ups, although the interior was a little chaotic. I enjoyed the Wagyu japadog - it was delicious and piping hot. A quick and filling option when visiting the outlets. They have another line up for smaller/quicker menu options like ice cream and drinks for your convenience.
