Tea on the Grand
Just celebrated my 1 Year Anniversary with my boyfriend here, and I just wanted to say thank you for making it even more wonderful than I expected. I went there with my mother for Mother's Day, loved it, and knew I had to take the man I love there as well. Judy was every so kind, I told her it was our anniversary and she made us our own cake with strawberries to celebrate. She was so happy for us, that she insisted on cutting the cake for us. The tea is just delicious, and the food has always been appetizing. Everyone who works there is welcoming and kind. I loved hearing about the history of the home and family.The food was delicious, and all home made! Scones freshly made and just perfect! I can't say how perfect the experience was for us.Thank you again ladies for a wonderful anniversary . Can't wait to go back.

Tea on the Grand
Booked 24 hours before. Food was excellent and lots of it. Scones, jam and cream. Sandwiches, croissants and wraps, fruit and a beautiful Victoria sponge. Iced tea and tea bags (we brought our own hot water). Will definitely order again.

Tea on the Grand
My good friend and I are regulars to Tea on the Grand as it's the perfect location for us to meet being midway between where we live. Judy is the ultimate host. We love everything about Judy's historical home that has been restored and furnished beautifully with period appropriate furniture. I feel like I'm visiting a museum but we get to touch and lounge in her home while enjoying afternoon tea. It's a wonderful respite to our busy lives. The tea that is served is very high quality and I always look forward to it. The food is delicious, well prepared and full of flavour. Judy is generous with her portions. You won't go hungry! Everything is prepared by her. We loved everything but this particular visit we had a meringue dessert that was out of this world! We asked Judy for her secret and she gladly shares her culinary knowledge. In fact July is a fountain of information on so many topics. She's a gifted storyteller and so generous with her time and passion!

This is an amazing place, the owner is awesome.Judy went out of her way to make our experience a fantastic one, we have fond memories of our day spent with Judy, her amazing food and her staff. It is one of the best tea rooms I've been to, and I've been to many that don't measure up to what she offers, the variety and the flare.We loved hearing about Judy's stories and also enjoyed the history of their beautiful home, we can't wait to go back when COVID is behind us, in the meantime I am ordering the tea box to go!

Tea on the Grand
Judy was a fantastic Host today at Tea on the Grand. The food was spectacular, the tea was absolutely devine. Beautiful atmosphere and really captures the 1850's Era perfectly. She had a gorgeous little siamese cat who came to greet us during tea. I had a beautiful bridal shower this afternoon. Thank you Judy! We will be back again.

So now the owner is leaving lies about me. Not once did I phone this establishment. Our correspondence was strictly over email and not once did she say she was out of the country, but rather told me she had a severe injury to her hand. I had stopped responding to her emails and she emailed me twice more and it was utterly baffling. I still have copies and will happily post them for all to read. I find it very strange that she chose to respond to my review 3 years later and completely fabricate our exchange. I don’t ever delete emails for this very reason.

Tea on the Grand
I took my girlfriend for a what we thought would be a lovely luncheon…it turned out to be an amazing afternoon of history, great company from Judy, our host, and a delicious luncheon that we thoroughly enjoyed. The ambience of the house, especially after our tour, only made the experience more enjoyable. Our food was a wonderful variety of appetizers, sandwiches, fruits and sweets and to top it off, a lovely cake. Thankyou Judy for such a great afternoon
