Bean Around the World Coffees

Visited this place a couple times, both times met Jeremy ( the owner of the place). I have found out that he’s very mad about the student discount he’s offering ( his choice) and is very rude about it. He said he doesn’t make anything, and does not definitely appreciate the business that the students are giving him. I kindly asked his name, two that he responded My name is Jeremy and I’m the owner of this place so that you know.Don’t really like to post bad reviews, but trust me this place needs one.

Went here for a coffee and breakfast sandwich to prepare for a meeting, and was very pleased.Great American. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, with fresh roasted peppers adding a great (refreshing) taste.I managed to snag a nice lounge chair by the window, and grabbed another coffee I was so content.The staff were also super kind and welcoming, playing a great playlist of throwbacks.Would reccomend.

Coffee is good but why would you use pink marker to write on the coffee? It was was all over my fingers and it ruined my shorts. Really annoying.

Nice stop for a morning coffee. The staff are friendly, the drinks are good, and the food is hot and freshly prepared. There’s a good view of the park across the street from the counter by the window and there’s free WiFi as well. The shop itself is bright and welcoming. Would recommend as a first stop in the morning.

Definitely a great place to sit and get some work done from while in Vancouver. Comfortable seats and good wifi. The window facing seats didn't have any power outlets though. Friendly staff. Not busy at all on a weekday.

Had to stop by to get on a meeting, staff were friendly and polite. The latte was quite decent as well.

I have never been so disrespected in my life. I asked for an almond milk cappuccino, when i got it the foam was a dark brown, I stirred it a little bit and it was just dark brown all the way. When I tasted it it was extremely bitter as if i was given a coffee that was reheated. I decided to not make a big deal as i was on a rush so I decided to add a little bit of sugar but it was just un drinkable. I asked the barista why the foam was so dark as every time i have gotten a capuccino the foam looks white. He immediately got very angry and defensive and told me that he knows how to do a capuccino and started to yell at me and tell me that i ordered almond milk and almond milk is not white but off white but the capuccino was literally the same brown as the coffee so I was just speechless at his response and demeanour, I didnt say anything but he continued to yell at me and talked down to me. I was very calm the whole time because I didnt think it was a problem to get a coffee like that and maybe he could have make it again and end of the story but he decided to continue to yell at me so i asked for a refund but he said that I was not getting a refund and that he was gonna give me another one but it was gonna be the same. At the end i told him I really didnt want another one of the same but a refund and that i didnt get why he was talking to me like that. In a very angry way while banging things around he gave me some of the money back (not a full refund) and told me to get out and that i wasn’t welcomed back.Very horrible experience. Never going back. Bad coffee and horrible humiliating service.

pizza bagel with salsa 10/10!! Both baristas- they slay <3. Also they are lovely to you if you are a decent human being <3

The service here is no bueno. Staff are goofing around having a very loud and animated conversation while I stand at the counter and patiently wait to be served. My presence appeared to annoy them. God forbid a CUSTOMER walk in and disrupt their little party. The coffee lacked both in flavour and presentation and the cream cheese for the bagel had a strange synthetic aftertaste that was extremely unpalatable. It was certainly a bad start to the day and would not recommend. There are other coffee options in the 1-block radius where one can expect more industry standard service.
