Capelli Hair Studio

I chose to go to Capellis when I came to Collingwood because they are excellent at hair styling and hair care.I find this location to be friendly and welcoming.I have been going to Lindsay for a year now and she has always done a fantastic job. I have to share that she went over and above today, doing a total hair restyling.Short !!She was so patient and ensured that I walked out satisfied even taking extra time. Thank you Lindsay. I really appreciate your professionalism.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a pleasant experience!! Aveda products don't ruin my hair and my skin is the best its ever been using their skincare line. Hats off to the Stress-Fix massage and always fabulous nails. Had another wonderful hair colour change for spring, the girls are always up to date on the latest trends and they never fail me -- I trust them implicitly every time I go in!! :)

Spent $470 to get highlights in my hair! Barley looks any different. Used all my Christmas money to go blonde and it looks nothing close to the pictures I showed. I think it lifted like two shades. The prices have gone up extremely in the past couple years. I should have listened to my friends when they told me to not go here. I’m not sure if the toner was wrong or something but I’m extremely disappointed and just in shock about it all. It’s disgusting how much they charged for the service they did on my hair.

After pre-booking a trial for my wedding hair style and completing all the necessary steps and payment to secure day of wedding appointments for 5 ladies, I went to have my hair done by Lindsay. I had followed reviews and looked forward to having my hair done by her after reading good reviews. Upon booking, I was told that my appointment would be enough time to try out a couple styles and play around a bit with how I would want my hair done for my wedding day. Unfortunately, this was far from what happened. I tried one updo and the stylist seemed to be very frustrated with trying to pin my fine hair. After politely suggesting that she use a stronger hold hair spray, the stylist continued to sigh out of frustration and proceeded without changing course. The end result looked like a rats nest or something a 10 year old at a slumber party would have done. The photo below was taken within one hour of my appointment (complete with 40-50 bobby pins which were basically hanging). I immediately called to speak with the manager to discuss options. I was told that the trial is supposed to be a representation of what you will have on my wedding day" and if I wanted to try something else that I would have to book another appointment and pay. I was also told that my $200 deposit for my bridal party was not refundable. The manager was not at all sympathetic to the situation and had poor customer service skills with no resolution. I ended up leaving my deposit and booking hair appointments elsewhere

Jenna is just awesome at what she does. I had a stressful morning, (SAHM mom here with three babies aged three and under) and decided to treat myself to a longgggg overdo hair cut. I was visiting the area and stumbled upon the salon. I asked if there were any openings and to my luck, there were - and with the area’s number one hair stylist. Fate? She listened to me, and did exacted what I asked, but better. The atmosphere was just what I needed. Good tunes, relaxed conversation, warm tea. Really, really happy I made the choice to go to Capelli. Loving my curls again.

I have been trying to achieve a look for my hair for the past 6 years and have tried various stylists. Jenna absolutely nailed the colour and cut and I will not be going anywhere else from now on. She really took the time and was phenomenal start to finish. Thank you!!

I have been going to Capelli for over 6 years now, and I always leave feeling so light and pampered. I loooove their natural products and environmental awareness they participate in with their signature Aveda brand. The staff are talented, trendy and always so warm and welcoming.I swear, I leave feeling stress free from there. The vibes aren't comparable to anywhere else in Collingwood. I love this salon!P.s My hair is wet in the pic...but the pic was taken 2 days after my cut.

Love this salon, great service and super skilled stylists. I get my hair coloured and cut here and always really happy with it! Really good selection of Aveda products too!

This review is long overdue. Capelli is a gem of a salon. Professional, welcoming, a fun place to be.Lyndsey, my stylist, is incredibly talented. My haircuts grow out beautifully, I joke that she is the reason I don't need to come in as often. I have no doubt everyone at Capelli's is equally talented. This is a 5 star+ salon.
